Ask Ausiello: Spoilers on 'Bones,' 'Glee,' 'Chuck,' 'Gossip Girl,' and more!

Got a scoop request? An anonymous tip you’re dying to share? Just want to say hi? You can send any/all of the above to ausielloscoop@ew.com

Question: Are you planning to do an Ask Ausiello this week given the whole Thanksgiving thing? —Jennifer
Ausiello:
I haven’t decided yet. Can I get back to you?

Question: There’s a clip making the rounds from the Christmas dinner scene on the Dec. 10 episode of Bones where people are talking about a kiss. What do you know about it? Is it a Booth/Brennan kiss? —Penelope
Ausiello:
That’s a really good question. It’s so good that I’m not even going to try to answer it myself. “The Christmas episode is special — it’s Christmas after all,” responds exec producer Stephen Nathan. “But a kiss? With all of the squints and family there? That seems a bit too forward for Brennan and Booth, doesn’t it?” Damn you and your trick questions, Nathan! Exclusive: USA renews 'Burn Notice' for fourth season

Categories: Burn Notice, News

This was pretty much a no-brainer: USA Network has renewed Burn Notice for a fourth season, sources confirm to me exclusively.

A report that BN had been picked up appeared in the trades last July, but a USA insider says the season 4 deal only became official yesterday.

The smash hit is slated to return with the second half of its third season in January. The 16-episode fourth season would likely debut next summer.

The news comes a day after USA picked up Psych for a fifth season.

'House' XXXclusive: Lisa Edelstein sounds off on Lucas, Huddy, and one huge (bleep)

Categories: House, News

It took ‘em long enough, but I suspect it’s gonna prove worth the wait: House’s keepers are giving Lisa Edelstein’s Cuddy her own Very Special Episode, to air on Feb. 8. (That’s two weeks before my birthday. Coincidence? I think not.) And in honor of, well, the honor, I got her on the horn yesterday to discuss exposing more than her character’s emotions (nudity!), her unpopular love interest (Lucas!), the future of Huddy (her fingers are crossed!), and more. As always, on screen and off, she didn’t disappoint. (Warning: Portions of the following Q&A are NSFW.)

As I understand it, this episode on Feb. 8 is like a day in the life of Cuddy, right?
LISA EDELSTEIN:
Yes. What’s interesting about it is it lets you know what her world is like when you don’t see her. When House does what he does. You see everything she has to deal with, and you get a better understanding of where she’s coming from. (Read full post)

'Desperate Housewives' has NOT fired Drea de Matteo

You can fuhgeddabout widespread rumors that says Desperate Housewives is on the verge of whacking Drea de Matteo.

A Housewives insider insists there’s no truth to a report in The National Enquirer claiming the Emmy winner is being written off the show for budgetary reasons.

Per my source, the terms of de Matteo’s Housewives contract — which calls for her to appear in 20 of this season’s 23 episodes — remain unchanged.

Relieved? Disappointed? Indifferent? Pick one and post it below.

'NCIS' first look: Abby's awesome 'LA' crossover!

Crossover stunts have become as ubiquitous as season-ending character deaths. And let’s face it, more times than not they’re probably conceived at a network marketing retreat instead of inside a writers room — which is probably why many of them come off feeling like blatant ratings-boosting promotional gimmicks. But I’m here to tell you that this week’s NCIS/NCIS: LA mash-up is different, and I can give you at least two reasons why. First off, it revolves around the undeniably awesome Pauley Perrette. And second, because it results in the first face-to-face encounter between Abby and Linda Hunt’s Hetty — a memorable run-in you won’t have to wait ’till tomorrow night to watch thanks to the following exclusive first look… (Read full post)
