Stop the presses: 90210’s school paper just got a hot new faculty adviser! The Ausiello Files has been told exclusively, and then of course ran right to you to blab, that Hal Ozsan has nabbed the high-profile recurring role.
Though the actor’s name might not be familiar to you, chances are you do know the actor himself. He played Todd Carr on Dawson’s Creek, Michael Cassidy on Kyle XY, and was seen earlier this season shaving years off gamblers’ lives on Supernatural.
So what do you think? Will the newbie make headlines? Sound off below. (It’s what Mike, even on his vacation, would want you to do.)

Hmm, i’d rather him on something else simply cause i don’t watch 90210 and i’ve always enjoyed anything he’s been in simply cause he’s always such a rapscallion.
I second susie’s comment.
I second that comment as well. I’m happy he’s around, cause I liked him on Supernatural but I don’t watch 90210. He’s super hot, but that still won’t get me to watch 90210.
I didn’t like him on Dawson’s Creek, so I doubt I’ll like him in this. lol.
Michael Cassidy didn’t play Todd Carr in Dawson’s Creek.
You’re talking about the guy from Priviledged Right?
Michael Cassidy is an actor who was on Privileged but there was also a character on Kyle XY of the same name. That character was played by Hal Ozsan, who also played Todd Carr on Dawson’s Creek…
He’s super hot…and his music was pretty good. Too bad I don’t watch 90210.
Loved him in Supernatural – I’m kinda bummed that this means he likely won’t be back! Think he’ll be great on 90210… just sorry I don’t watch that…
Thank you! This is where I know him from. Can’t remember the character on DC.
Oops, nevermind, mis-read the article.
Faculty advisor? Do they even bother coming up with actual reasons to bring in fresh blood? I’m not sure why, but if it’s because Ryan is being killed off horribly then I’m ok with it. I can only take so much boring faculty (especially with the lack of attention on Jennie Garth).
Jennie Garth only has a few exposures on the show because she only agreed to the same number of episodes she appeared on season 1. I read in an article that she was offered a full-time role but she declined, citing her responsibilities to as a mom to her kids as well as doing some charity work off screen. She’s also a part of a web series according to Daytime Confidential.
He always plays or looks bad so this likely won’t work. I also agree this show doesn’t need another adult when not using ones have on show proper!
So… this must be the one Noami accuses of sexual harassment. I’ll take it.
He is SO going to be the teacher Naomi claims sexual harassment charges on right? Who else than Hal? Either way, I can’t wait!!
Bring back David and Donna. I’m so sick of the n00bs.
go back to the 90’s!
Now I’m bummed, I have to go watch that show because he’s going to be on it. I really like the actor, loved him on SPN.
I was really hoping he’d return to SUPERNATURAL as evil witch Patrick. He was a lot of fun there, playing cards for years of life instead of money. Hopefully he’ll have extra time to put in another appearance on SUPERNATURAL despite his stint on 90210, which I also don’t watch. The only show on the CW that appeals to me is SUPERNATURAL! Loved him on Supernatural, but I refuse to watch 90210.
won’t be watching. ever if possible. yet i congratulate the actor on his new found employment , even if it is the show it is …. who knows, maybe he’ll be fired before the season’s over and be the next he-Swank
