My little spoiler operation is expanding into late night!
During a taping of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (scheduled to air tonight), CSI’s George Eads revealed that he’s engaged to longtime girlfriend Monika Casey.
Eads explained to Ferguson that his recent medical woes — the actor underwent back surgery over the summer to fix a herniated disc — strengthened the couple’s bond. “When you go through something that terrible together… I don’t know, maybe it happened for a reason,” he said. “She really was my champion and helped me get through that.”

Craig asked when the wedding is. George had no idea because there isn’t going to be one!! I hope he doesn’t make the same mistake that Tom Cruise did. Come out of the closet. He deserves to have the burden lifted off of his shoulders, it’s so much better for him and he won’t die from stress. I bet when his acting career is over, so is the engagement!!!

I love how all you who believe he’s gay, feel it’s your job, right and mission in life to DRAG him out of the closet. No matter how he feels about it. And you make it sound like you care so much about how he feels and what would be best for him. Please! IF he is gay, then OBVIOUSLY he either doesn’t want to be OUT or doesn’t want to be GAY. Not everyone believes there is nothing wrong with that lifestyle and that they are “born that way”. So until he says otherwise – congratulations George & Monica. All the best to you.
I think that George should be a man and drop the beard. We would be still his fans. This whole “I had surgery, I got engaged” “I’m straight” is making him look bad.

I couldn’t disagree with you more. There are a lot of teenegers, young people who look up to these famous Hollywood actors.
What George Eads (and many other closeted actors) are doing is to perpetuate the idea that being gay is something to be ashamed of.
Keep your life private is one thing, but flaunting a fake relationship in front of the paps and talk shows is WRONG.

I was engaged for two years before we set a date to marry and I don’t think that was indicative that either of us are gay! Unless, of course, I’ve been a beard all this time and didn’t know it.

This relationship is a SHAM. George Eads, Eric Szmanda, and Jorja Fox are ALL gay! George and Eric were longtime lovers before George settled into beard-om with Monika Casey, and Eric moved on to his lover of several years, some blonde guy named Chad. Jorja has been in a live-in relationship with her lover, and former CSI stand-in turned photographer. Lelah Foster for several years. When will all three get some guts and stop hiding?!
