After blacking out face-first into my tofu pot pie, I’ve returned from lunch with a glimpse of future casting news for FlashForward. It’s all a bit hazy — I can neither confirm nor deny that alcohol was involved — but it looks like actress Paula Newsome of Women’s Murder Club fame will be joining the forward-leaning thriller for a few episodes in the not-so-distant future.
Newsome will play a doctor (maybe a certain unwillingly pregnant agent’s OB/GYN?) for an arc that will likely begin airing in early 2010. Sadly, 137 seconds wasn’t long enough for me to bring back any juicy spoilers, but I’m still trying to put all the pieces together. So stay tuned… (Additional reporting by Keith Staskiewicz)

If she is to play “a certain unwillingly pregnant agent’s OB/GYN”, then there’s a continuity issue to be addressed, considering we’ve already seen said agent’s OB/GYN in her flashforward.
OB/GYN and sonographer are two different people. My OB has not performed my sonograms.
Was “unwillingly pregnant” spoiler for a rape? Since lesbians can’t get pregnant “unwillingly. If they indeed go that route then WTF?!
That should have read “can’t get pregnant “unwillingly” without raped by a man”.
I think it refers to her character speaking this week about not planning on having kids/being in a committed relationship where you would be going through in vitro in 6 months.
I just hope she returns to NCIS as Vance’s wife!
Will she make the show any better? She definitely can’t hurt it, I guess.
