Oh my Goth, Abby is going to L.A.!
Pauley Perrette’s NCIS lab rat-slash-tattoo enthusiast will cross over (for real) to NCIS: LA this November, sources confirm to me exclusively.
While Abby has talked to the Left Coast expansion team on the phone, this will be her first time touching down at LAX. Sadly, it looks like it won’t be much of a vacation, as she finds out not everybody in the City of Angels sports a halo. Someone’s going to abduct our dear Abby!
Perrette’s LA adventure is slated to air Nov. 24. (Additional reporting by Keith Staskiewicz)

NCIS: LA has gotten rly good in recent eps
It is still sub-par and they are lucky nothing else good comes on at the same time.
Oh man, that means I might actually have to watch that drivel. I can’t make it past 10 minutes of that show.
2nd this. I’ve tried at least 4 or 5 episodes, including the last 2 weeks and never manage more than 10 minutes…

it’s improved a lot since the first couple of episodes, but i must admit i get bored quicker – too many men cracking jokes with each other, not enough to actually hook me in. though chris o’donnell is certainly nice to look at, and distracts me from changing the channel…

Yay! I love Abby and I can’t wait to see her bring magic to the NCIS:LA show too! It’s great show that is starting out a little slow and hopefully Abby will provide the “oomph” it needs!
good give Abby something to do there has been a real lack of Abby in the new season of NCIS and yesterday just made it worst…Seriously not letting Abby weart a Costume on Halloween sucked
agree, I was so looking forward to seeing what she would wear last night. Although that comment about McGee and his skinny Jonas bros jeans gave me a bit of shivers (and not the good kind)

Abducted in LA? That can’t bode well for Abby. The only people she’d trust to keep her safe would be Gibbs and his team. For them not to be invloved isn’t realistic, so unless the whole team is crossing over, this seems like a cheap ploy of a story line.
I agree. First of all, I hate that she is in jeopardy yet again. For a lab rat, that seems to happen to her a lot. More importantly, though, it just seems wrong to have people other than Gibbs and his team looking for her.

I couldn’t agree more, although it’s completely WRONG for anyone but Gibbs and co. to be looking for Abby, they wouldn’t have let her get abducted in the first place, not again anyways.

I really agree with Laura. Gibbs and the whole team will need to find her. He is not one to sit back on the sidelines.
I don’t really suppose it makes a difference. Tuesday nights are just a really long “NCIS” episode to me anyway. Should be interesting if they are going to write out the lab altogether in DC or if they are going to get another forensic scientist.
But as far as “NCIS LA” goes, it’s maybe starting to grow on me.
Any chance she’ll replace that stupid kid playing the techno-geek on the show? (I think the character’s name is Eric…) I like most of the LA cast, but he really bugs me.
I love NCIS, and not so much NCIS:LA. Why do they force me to watch NCIS:LA to follow my favorite characters. I hate how NCIS is exploited to enhance artificially NCIS:LA. But I will always love NCIS.
Alas, poor Gibbs. He’s getting lousy lately. First, someone steals his boat. Then,someone steals his Abby. What will they steal next?

Watched NCIS LA once and when LL came out of the water at the golf course to shoot someone, I knew I’d never watch again. Love NCIS but this new one is ridiculous.

Ugh, wish they wouldn’t taint the original cast by forcing them to appear on that cheap, lousy knockoff.
If Abby is abducted, Gibbs would be on the first plane there. Harmon has to join the hunt for this episode to be realistic.
As for coming out of the water Wendy, LL’s character is an ex Navy Seal. Staying underwater for long periods is what they do.

You scared me, Ausiello! It initially sounded as though Pauley was crossing over permanently. Thank God that isn’t the case! I can deal with one episode. I’m still giving the LA spinoff a chance, but it needs to pick up. And they’ve got to have the rest of the DC team involved somehow if she’s abducted. Because you know if Gibbs finds out he is NOT staying in DC. Tony, either.

Looks like I’m in the minority but I kinda like the LA. Not as good yet as the original but gotta give the cast and writers time to get in a comfort zone. And really like Linda Hunts character. As for Abby…gotta love her and if she’s in trouble then Gibbs and co. will be on the first plane to LA.
I know what you mean. I can’t believe this many people hate the show. I like it. It is starting out just as slow as NCIS did seven years ago. The rating for the first season were low and has gradually increased with each season. One of the reasons it has gotten so popular is the back story of each character and how that meshes with the team in general. It will be the same with LA, but you can’t expect that in the first couple of episodes. Right now we are just trying to get to know the characters while they do “UNDERCOVER” NCIS work. Soon it will be just a great as the Gibbs team. Go Gibbs!!! Oh and Abby is my all time fav. I would watch her on any show she did.
I’m with you CTUChief – LA will only get better with time … when NCIS originally started not that many watched either … silly humans.
I’m baffled by the NCIS fans who call the spinoff “silly” and “clownish”. I enjoy NCIS, but it isn’t high art. It’s not great drama. It’s good popcorn tv and to pretend that those characters aren’t silly is, in itself, silly. I am actually preferring LA because even though it’s total fluff and is cringe worthy at times, there are fall fewer “wah, wah, wahhhh” moments.

anon, we don’t hate NCIS:LA, we juste don’t enjoy it. And what we really don’t like, on the other hand, is Brennan forcing NCIS into NCIS:LA, when he said the two shows had to follow their own path…

Athough I enjoy looking at Chris O’Donnel & LL Cool J, does LA have to be such a Sausage Fest??? They need to get rid of any or all of the supporting male characters and replace them with females with wit & character like Zeva, Kate & Abby.
I always thought this kind of “stunt” casting was pretty lame.
I just cannot get into this show, from the horrendous opening theme, to the cardboad cutout supporting cast.
Much like there is only 1 Highlander movie, there is only 1 NCIS- Go Team Gibbs!
Do not hate NCIS LA but it is a little off, the editing is bad, the secondary sound effects are bad and the writting is bad. It is fun to pick out the mis steps

Actually Abbs is on a first name basis with everyone except Gibbs. SHe called Jenny by her first name and even with Tony she uses that instead of Dinoso like everyone else. It’s a part of who her character is. Go Team Gibbs!!!!!!!! Oh, and I love LA.

It is fun to pick at the mistakes of the new show. One of the biggest for me is that it’s just trying way too hard to be “cool.” One of the things I adore about the original is that the people feel pretty real to me. (Okay, Ziva’s a little unreal, but the rest…) They’re flawed and goofy and they joke and make mistakes. I don’t see that on the new show. The men are manly and tough, which is okay, except that it’s all… the… time… Give it a rest already! We know you’re badass, now show me you can be normal, too.

I miss ABBY!!! She hasn’t been given much screen time this season…what’s up with that?!?!? And no Halloween costume?!?! Keep her with the original NCIS, but give her more screen time. I’m not into the LA version at all.
