That’s funny, I was thinking the same thing. Before I read the options, I just assumed that Jenny would be involved, and that it would probably be between Chuck, Blair, and Jenny. I mean, did you see the way he was looking at her on last night’s episode? It almost makes me wonder if they’re going to eventually have Jenny come between the two of them.

I agree that they would not go for to guys. They don’t ever do anything with Eric, the gay male on the show. As I was reading I originally thought Dan, Olivia, Vanessa. They laid the ground work already. Miss “Paragon of Normalcy” cannot be all that normal. She clearly likes Vanessa. Vanessa and Dan need a little push into their romantic issues. I’m in college now and I definitely agree. Anyone who thinks that this is some kind of outrageous topic is either at a seriously conservative college, younger than the characters on the show, or way older than the characters on the show. Because in college 3somes happen all the time. It’s all about sexperimentation.

I’m in my late 20’s and recently finished grad school and I don’t where you go, but at neither of my alma maters where their 3somes “all the time”. And neither of the schools I went to were conservative, both are large state universities in liberal areas! I highly doubt GG will explore this topic in any other way than as sensationalistic tripe…Also, social norms research repeatedly demonstrates people consistently overestimate the amount of risky behavior their peers engage in, I doubt 3somes are as commonplace as you think!
actually, social norms research is not very trustworthy since most people (even though they are anonymously questioned) won’t answer truthfully when asked about something that is “socially undesirable.” For example, when asked about the number of men that a woman has slept with, she will lower her number to make it seem like she is not promiscuous. however, men who are asked will usually say a number greater than the true number so they can seem like a stud. The social desirable answer usually wins, so most people asked will usually answer in a manner reflecting their social background.

This is an easy one. The episode is called “They shoot Humphreys don’t they?”. Hence it’s either Dan or Rufus and since Serena’s father was not around last week it’s Dan with Olivia and either Vanessa or Georgina (unlikely).

The thing that makes this so creepy to me is that these KIDS are 19 years old! Little J is even YOUNGER. I know they are all uber-wealthy, but I would think, even in NYC, it is against the law for 18-19 year olds to be sitting at a bar drinking martini’s in the middle of the day.
