Wilson will at long last exorcise the ghost of ex-girlfriend Amber this season on House. According to executive producer Katie Jacobs, Robert Sean Leonard’s long-grieving alter ego will sever his final tie to Amber by year’s end.
“Wilson is still living in Amber’s apartment,” Jacobs points out. “And we said to ourselves, ‘How long can he live in the shadow of that relationship?’”
Apparently about a year-and-a-half, since, per Jacobs, “He’s actually going to move out of Amber’s apartment and into a new place way down the line in episode 8 or 9.”
Where does this leave House, who beginning next week starts crashing with his BFF? In what will no doubt be a boon to the burgeoning Hilson movement, Jacobs says they’ll get a new pad together.
Reaction? Happy Wilson is moving on? Even happier House and Wilson are making their living arrangement (presumably) permanent? Sound off below!

Actually judging from the trailers, it looks like both 13 and Taub are getting the boot,and chase and Cameron are coming back. It’s nice to know one show still pays attention to what the fans want.
Michael, don’t be fooled by the trailers/promos. Olivia Wilde’s not going anywhere – 13 is here to stay. I didn’t mind the character in season 4, but when they started shoving her and all her issues down our throats in season 5, and then hooked her up with Foreman for that Boreteen bore-fest, that pushed me over the edge. I’ve seen a promo with 14 in bed and it sent my lunch across the Atlantic.
I think Wilson is the whole show. He is the hottest guy on TV. He needs to be given a bigger part, maybe this is step one.

Leslie: it’s funny. The way they have been played and written over the years is exactly the reason I think them showing deeper, even romantic feelings for each other would be awesome, sweet and perfectly IC.
Maybe he was just being sarcastic, but I saw an interview with Leonard and Edelstein (Wilson and Cuddy) and Leonard said he liked to work as little as possible, so he probably won’t be getting more exposure. I agree with you though; I love Wilson.

Brittany, Brittany calm down. The only time you’re going to see House half naked, groping, fondling, writhing and grinding is with Cuddy or some other female. We had to endure that crap with Boreteen, which made me almost hurl. And that Huddy kiss was so nasty, I rarely watch the episode in which it occurred. I’m a fan who prefers great dialogue to bump and grind which is why I love, love House/Wilson (Hilson). House/Wilson is romantic in the classic black and white forties genre. In that era everything was done with music, lighting, heated looks, furtive glances, and the occasional mostly chaste kiss or wrap around hug. I think of House and Wilson as soulmates. Their relationship is bromantic, romantic, and just plain sexy. It really doesn’t require all that visually nasty stuff we get with het ships. I know House loves Wilson and I know Wilson loves House. In the Itch House having a bad nightmare and who did he run to in the middle of the night – Wilson!! Now that’s hot. House telling Dr. Nolan if he and Wilson were any more connected they’d have to unzip is an awesome Housian way to describe how close they are sans the sex.

This makes no sense. I can see why House would stay with Wilson for a while when he first gets back, but to actually get a place together, that’s sounds pretty silly. Ummmm, no. I know several men of their age who are living together and are not gay.
Think about it. They’re single, but they’re lonely. House and Wilson are best friends. By living together they can take ‘lonely’ out of the equation.
I personally am looking forward to seeing the two interact without the hospital as a pretext (ie House showing up at Wilson’s to bounce ideas off him when he’s stuck on a case…not that he won’t do that when they’re living together, but now it won’t be an excuse for House to have social interaction)
actually it is something that totally straight men might do. and do all the time. even for doctors buying a home or renting a place can be expensive, and if you are basically only around half the time cause of work, why not. plus one might be a good cook but hates to clean while the other is fierce with the bleach and toilet brush but would live off peanut butter and bacon sandwiches or take out pizza.
also as has been brought up, these fellows both need some interaction in their lives to get themselves back in the land of the living. why not each other.

I guess you have either never watched a little Tony award winning play called the Odd Couple or have watched mush of House…down the road Wilson has crashed so many times at House’s for one reason and another…at one point they were basically living together but as Wilson kept saying it was just temporary just temporary House was doing everything he could to drive him crazy…then at the end of the episode when Wilson finally “owned” up to the problem at hand House basically stated that he liked (well for House) Wilson being there…

In a way, that will be a way for House to check his addictive tendencies -once an addict, always an addict- and for Wilson to play a bigger part on the show -and avoid those tricky, Florence Nightingale-syndrome relationships he has a weakness for. But to me, it all seems a tad contrived. The friendship aspect of House and Wilson has always seemed one-sided in tha past. House was the taker/borrower/need-to-consult-to-get-an-epiphany, while Wilson never seemed to get much in return. Usually a friendship has to have benefits on both sides, but this one just seems to lack that mutual benefit aspect. To me it struck more as a parasite-host type of relationship, with House as the parasite -albeit a parasite that benefits the immediate environment by his insightful deductive skills.
Wilson-House is doomed to failure unless House changes dramatically and learns to give something back to Wilson.
Wilson’s many ex-wives would beg to differ. He does get things out of the relationship, and he doesn’t have to go through the messy divorce. It may be a bit masochistic, but that is a part of Wilson’s personality.
I gues you stopped watching in Season 3 because they have shown us over and over again that Wilson gets just as much from the relationship/friendship as House does. Take a peek at Birthmarks – with that nuf’ said.

I think Cuddy is great and I don’t mind their relationship, but House and Wilson’s relationship is the centre of the show for me. This is great news and I can’t wait to see it happen.

And really, when House thought that Wilson was really calling it quits with their friendship, he pursued him much more energetically than he has ever chased after Cuddy. What I love about HOUSE/WILSON is that it is BROMANTIC, ROMANTIC, SEXY, HOT SANS THE PHYSICAL NASTINESS WE GOT WITH THE HUDDY. I really, really don’t enjoy watching two people slobber all over each other. It just looks gross. That’s why I love my House/Wilson cause that ain’t gonna ever happen. When I watch that scene which I do quite often, it just sends me rolling on the floor laughing. House thinks of Cuddy as a man and Wilson as a woman (well lady). So if het should be the guiding factor in terms of who House sleeps with – he should be sleeping with Lady!Wilson instead of Man!Cuddy.
