Captain Awesome is in danger of becoming Captain Deadasadoornail if this latest Chuck casting scoop is any indication: Ex-Law & Order ADA Angie Harmon has signed on to guest star in this season’s fourth episode as Sydney, a spy for the Ring who wants to whack Ryan McPartlin’s awe-obsessed alter ego.
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it three times in the past week: NBC, please don’t make us wait until March for new Chuck episodes. I’ll do anything you want. I’ll even forgive you for Knight Rider. And Coupling. Just name your price.

Michael, you are really giving us the Chuck scoop this week. Please NBC do not wait until March. Though looking at some of their new shows that are premiering, maybe one of them will be cancelled and then they can start Chuck early.
If NBC put as much interest in promoting “Chuck” as the fans and media members like Michael do, the show would be a Top Ten hit and it would be starting back up this month instead of six months from now.

What you mean she’s not going to be another love interest for Chuck? I thought every good-looking actress/actor that comes on Chuck is a love interest for either Chuck or Sarah. I am surprised that the showrunners are not sticking to their nauseating formula of getting their loyal fans ticked off so they wont watch the show anymore. I’m sure the way things are going there will still be one or two fans left in March.

NBC is poorly mishandling one of the best shows on television right now. Here’s hoping something like Trauma fails and they’ll be forced to bring back Chuck early.

Great casting news so far, great to see the budget constraints aren’t going to hurt them this season. Now all I want to see is Ruivivar return as Tommy and Vosloo as Vincent “Agent Imhotep.” Finally, add in Shatner, Richard Dean Anderson and The Hoff. Lynda Carter would also be PERFECT for Mama Bartowski. Leslie Easterbrook would be PERFECT for Casey’s mom, especially if his dad turned out to be an ultra-liberal, hippy anti-Casey. Otherwise, R. Lee Ermy.

What do we need to to to get NBC to realize CHUCK should be back this fall? They say they believe i the show and like where it is going creatively – but give it a March start date! PLEASE let it replace the first drama that gets cancelled this fall!
