On the heels of Brandon Routh’s casting as a love interest for Sarah comes word that Smallville vet Kristin Kreuk is joining Chuck for multiple episodes as Hannah, a girl Chuck meets on a flight to Paris. “Chuck and Hannah definitely have feelings for each other,” teases an insider.
Laid off from her glamorous publishing job, Hannah ends up working at the Buy More. (I’m sure that won’t prove distracting to the horny nerd herders at all!)
This marks Kreuk’s first major TV gig since leaving Smallville.
Let me take this opportunity to once again plead with NBC to move up Chuck’s premiere date. Making us wait until March would be cruel, unusual, and punishing. Please. I beg you. I’ll even give that horrible show about nurses another shot.

Hoping this means she won’t be making an appearance on Smallville then. Season 8 was good till she showed up, then it all went downhill.
I thought that was the best arc of the season, much better than that Davis/Doomsday junk. Finally got a believable reason why they are apart and he ends up with Lois (not that I dislike Lois, on the contrary, I like SV’s Lois better than I have ever liked the character before). But to each his own.

Ah! This is very exciting news! Even though I love Chuck and Sarah together (obviously!), I like the actors who they have brought in. Maybe by continuing to keep Chuck and Sarah apart, NBC execs might be convinced to keep it around for yet another season. This would give fans a chance to watch their relationship blossom naturally instead of rushing them together due to the possibility of a series finale. Here’s to hoping that NBC moves up the premiere date since they are torturing us CHUCK fans!
I love Chuck, and I’m not entirely happy about another petite brunette coming in to distract Chuck and Sarah (first Bilson, then Brewster, now Kruek, oy!), but I’d prefer that to anything derailing the Clois on Smallville.

That’s kind of where I am. KK was all kinds of bad acting on the seasons of Smallville where she and Clark had their will-they-won’t-they thing, but maybe she’s gotten better? Cautious optimism.
I agree. She seems like a nice woman who has her head on straight in real life, but beyond her cuteness she was painful to watch. I don’t know how much of that was writing, and how much acting, but Chun Li certainly didn’t help clarify things. Who knows, though … some actors just really need the right director to bloom.
