Wow…so I guess if you don’t look anorexic, you’re now considered “chubby.” If she wasn’t already awesome on Heroes, I’d suggest maybe Hayden Panettiere? She’s gorgeous!

I don’t think Hayden is chubby at all, just not as tiny as the other actresses on the show. She’s talented, and in my opinion beautiful.
Her point was that it wouldn’t take much to be “chubby”and “heavier than the other girls” The other girls are unhealthy.
There are no chubby actresses in Hollywood.. Unless by chubby then mean a size 6…

Mae Whitman. Though not chubby, she def is larger than the skinny minnies on this show. Plus, she has such a winsome face and does sarcasm really well.
Can Jordin Sparks act… or at least “act” as well as the nauseating Shenae Grimes? Because she’s the right age and certainly beautiful enough to fit in with the cast. (In fact, the rest of them — with the possible exception of the gorgeous Jessica Lowndes — would look pretty awful next to Jordin.)
I love the suggestion of Mae Whitman! She’s definitely not chubby, but doesn’t look anorexic like the cast of 90210. Loved her in Arrested Development

umm Chubby…i think all the girls on that show is chubby if u ask me..they need to lose a few pounds or so….i think that one girl looks like an elephant! or the other chubby one that looks like an overweight zebra..or maybe its that other chubby one im confusing with that looks like that old man from up…hmmm……i dont know..

I was laughing when I saw the “heavier than our girls on the show” quote. That pretty much leaves every other female age appropriate actor on the face of the planet as a potential fit for the part – especially when you consider they don’t specify race or any other specific skill such as ability to skate.
This is so freakin’ sad. No one can really come up with ANYBODY that isn’t scarily thin. Even I can only think of Kelly Osbourne and Raven Symone.

What about that girl who used to play Sabrina the teenage witch? She’s pretty flabby these days.
One she’s way too old, two um she had kids and was never Flabby, and she’s lost the weight and is on dwts. It’s like Russell calling the healthy totally unfat thin jordan fat on bb. what is this world coming to? Look at Marilyn Monroe or the women on Mad Men. Joan is gorgeous but by today’s standards she’s fat. MM, Joan etc would be fat not “chubby” next to 90210 girls
I’d suggest Rosie O’Donnell but a) she’d eat everyone else in the cast, and b) she’s a man.
Why not wait and see what the producers’ version of “chubby” before judging?
I knew they’d go looking for their Andrea Zuckerman. But this is over a year late. Chubby? Come on. Just because someone is skinny, doesn’t mean that they have a great body. That has always been a well known fact. Remember when Annie was bowling, and Ethan was looking at her from behind? He was trying so hard to do the shaking the head thing and saying “mmm….mmm”, but it was so horribly forced. Poor guy, because she was a bag of bones, no butt, no legs, and a real huge turnoff. Andrea Zuckerman was not skinny, but was not “chubby” either. They need to get off the chubby thing. Just concentrate on securing a good actress, who is capable of playing a smart, sassy student, not anexoric looking. Now, would that be so difficult in LA? Maybe……

Someone mentioned Mae Whitman which I like but I would also bring up Alia Shawkat.
All the girls on this show are walking skeletons so anyone size 2 or over is “chubby” compared to them. This sounds like a response to the complaints that these girls are dangerously unhealthy by being so emaciated.
Kat Dennings! She’s not what I would call “chubby” but she has a figure as opposed to the toothpicks that are already on the show.
how about Rumer Willis? and Kyle…Melissa Joan Hart is like 30 something now…I know those actresses on 90210 are not technically high school age but….and anyway Sabrina is doing DWTS this season..
