Oh, relax. It’s only for one episode, and it won’t affect Glee at all. In fact, had the actress’ whimsical Fox series not already wrapped production on its initial 13-episode order, she wouldn’t have been available to do it. But it had, so she was.
Anyway, back on Heroes, Mays will reprise her role of Charlie, Hiro’s ill-fated love interest. As the dying time-traveler zips back and forth through the ages to accomplish his bucket list… well, isn’t it safe to assume that saving his almost-sweetheart would be pretty high on the list? That’s what I thought.

Ironic, since Nathan-proper died in the season finale. And given the body turf-war this season, I bet Pasdar is done after this season.
I can’t see how it would happen, but I hope Nathan/Adrian Pasdar stays. It’s my guess too that he’s the one being killed off this season. But I hope I’m wrong. He’s my favorite character!

I always had the feeling, the story of them didnt really end well … also it gets back to something from season 1 almost everybody loved so well done Kring (for the first time in 3 years)
I loved Hiro and Charli’s short lived relationship and I hope he gets some closure. I hope he doesn’t die. I love HIRO!!
Great News! Jama was fantastic as Charlie on the first season of _Heroes_. Glad to see that see will make a return appearance.

Totally Agree. Though I have to say it does display everything that’s wrong with Heroes. Charlie’s death in Season 1 was so heart breaking because the character had so much potential. Not seeing it fulfilled hurt. So them bringing her back as a cheap stunt, to me, shows the short sighted thinking that has led Heroes to where it’s at today.

It’s situational irony, i.e. something happens that is greatly different from what we expect to happen.
Actually, to be precise, situational irony is irony in which the character can’t see the “something happening that is greatly different from what we expect” but the audience can — in other words, the audience is in on details the character him or herself is not. Just sayin’.

If you’re going to become a Heroes fan, watch the first season and then skip right to the new one. The second and third seasons are the biggest waste of your time pretty much ever.
I’m one of the Season 2 supporters, the visual effects were the best of all seasons. And the photography was cooler, in my opinion.
Her character on Heroes was named Charlie? Wasn’t her character on Ugly Betty also called Charlie? Kind of weird for someone with such a limited tv career.
Yes, having the same name in both series was very weird, especially since they were quite close together.
I wish that anything about Heroes made me feel anything. I so loved Season 1. The decline of interesting stories is the most stunning since 1990-91’s Twin Peaks.

Good, they should never have killed her off. While her death wasn’t the main thing that caused Heroes to go off track, it was a mistake that presaged a bunch of other mistakes so I’m glad to see them rethink it.

If for 1 ep only and that too to fulfill Hiro’s bucket list then i think it is a fantastic idea. Wonder how they will manage it in 1 ep though….the real question is should we trust writers with this series anymore; so far except for S1, they have managed to royally screw up every decent storyline and arc.
He can’t save Charlie, she had something wrong with her brain remember? So even if she was saved from sylar she still had an illness! Which we found out in season 1! I hate Heroes so much sometimes.
Yes! This is the best news about the show since they put Sylar & Elle into that romance. I hope they don’t waist her like they did with her Glee and Heroes co-star Meradith (for one epie, they better not). I wish they could bring Kristen Bell back, but if they can’t, Jayma is the next best thing.

yay I can’t wait for season 4, but i really think it’s stupid that hiro’s the one to die instead of ali larter she’s had TWO characters. i really think the writers need to grow a pair and kill off more characters, just saying.
Hell, no. With how badly they deal with death on this show I prefer for them to not kill anyone else. The problem is that they only use it for shock value and only with guest stars (off course), noone ever reacts to a character’s death and the character is completely forgot in a matter of two episodes like it never existed. So thanks but no, plus they have the tendency to kill the characters I love and let alive the ones that annoy me, lol.

I don’t think Hiro is necesarily trying to save her from Sylar again… maybe he just once to see her one last time or even seek for her advice on the situation… All of a sudden, he got a terminal illness too, remember?

They need to kill off Claire Bennet. I have gotten pretty bored with Hayden Panettiere, what with the commercials, magazine stories, etc. She sounds like a real b*tch in real life. If the studio replaced her, I might be interested again.

You people can’t be serious… bring back Kristen Bell? Please… Veronica Mars was not all that and her on HEROES ruined HEROES for me. Period. She’s not that great an actress. Get over her already.
Really? Kristen Bell ruined Heroes for you? I thought she was about the only worthwhile thing in Season 2. The show was ruined for me by a weak Season 1 finale and an utter inability to make any part of Season 2 that DIDN’T involve Kristen Bell watchable (I can’t say anything about the show past that, since Season 2 was enough to make me give up). Her return, the return of Jayma Mays, and maybe the show not sucking anymore might be enough to peak my interest.
I hated season two and Kristen Bell was one of the biggest reasons. The character was completely unlikeable to me with no redeeming qualities. I usually like the bad guys too. I’m also a fan of Kristen Bell but this was not a good role for her.

And it must have ruined it for you but most of fans clearly disagree with you…I don’t think people just want Elle back just cuz she’s played by Kristen Bell but because the character was great and she had an interesting storyline going on that would have actually made Sylar an interesing character and she also had a lot of past to be explored, unlike most of the boring heroes we still have to deal with, her death made no sense and it was just used for stupid shock value. Her acting… I’m pretty sure that one hell a lot of people would disagree with you, but that’s your opinion. Sadly – as of this episode Kristen Bell departs the show – we loved having her here. She is a pro and an all-around good egg. The scene where Sylar burns her body was her last scene in the series – but I actually directed her on her last day of shooting. This was the scene at the rental car dealership from episode 10. When we wrapped that scene the Assistant Director announced that Kristen was finished in the series. There was a huge round of applause and weepy eyes all around. Tim Kring and Kristen had explored keeping her around longer – and I know Kristen wanted to come back. There were potential storylines about pregnancies and babies…. But the truth is she has a very busy career with a lot of feature films, pilots and much else in the works. We had no official contract with her – and she couldn’t commit to exactly when she could return. And so it was decided that this would be the most exciting way to end her character. She will be missed.
well, that totally makes me sad. Since I totally think Zachary Quinto (sylar) is extremely hot, it was VERY NICE to see him showing his loving side, if you know what i mean, lol.
i guess that they can find someone else. hahaha
