David Boreanaz previews hot 'Bones' scene: 'It was pretty sexual'

Coming up this season on Bones: Booth and Brennan do it in the kitchen! “We ended up under the sink and there was water spraying all over us,” teases leading man David Boreanaz of this fall’s can’t-miss scene. “It was pretty sexual.” But was there actual sex? The answer can be found in the embedded video player after the jump. As an added bonus, that’s where you’ll also find fresh interviews with Boreanaz’ co-stars Emily Deschanel and Michaela Conlin.

Can’t wait for the new Bones season to start!! It’s going to be AW-SOOOME!! Thanks M Ausiello for getting all the good for us! :]

  • Amber

Sorry, but these are pretty boring. It’s the same ish all over again. It’s all teases and will only be teases. I’m so over this show. Poor Michaela. She doesn’t even know what’s going on with her character. That’s pretty sad. The supporting cast are like ghosts, now. That’s lame. Bones NEEDS MORE supporting cast and less BB in our face. All that said, David and Michaela look gorgeous, as always.

    • Amy

Couldn’t agree more. They don’t seem to know what the hell they’re doing with Angela anymore.

      I misss season 2.

    • WWP

Seriously, this just sounds like more of the same crap from the same writers who did nothing but dish out crap ALL last season. Bones used to be such a great show that has suffered a steep decline in quality. They’re turned Brennan into a intolerant Shrew who shouldn’t have a hamster, let along a kid, Boone’s a nitwit, Super!Angela is an expert at every single thing in the known universe and is irresitable to ALL men and women to boot, Hodges is completed wasted just mooning away over Angela. Zac is completely wasted in jail for a murder he didn’t commit. Oh, and Angela’s insane father commits kidnapping, assault and attempted murder on Hodges and it’s played for laughs. We have sudden desires for babies and dream fake sex. Oh, let’s not forget the brain tumor, no jumping the shark show would be complete without it! I swear, if it wasn’t for Stephen Fry and Sweets it would all be a waste. God, I miss the show I used to love.

      • AC

Maybe your real problem with the show is that you don’t even know their names since you called them Boone and Hodges which are neither one of their names.

  • maria

ahhhh looooovvvvveeee BONES! I can;t wait for the next season! yes booth all wet what more can you ask for?! …. well besides hot naked scenes between booth and brennan!

  • BobDob

They should have a dream episode where Booth turns into Angelus after having sex with Booth. Then, the team can solve the string of murders he does as Angelus. Now that would be priceless.

    • haley

LOL Thank you someone for saying it. I mean, we were all thinking it. At least I was…

      • Bones Fan

The first and second season were definitely the best to date. I am a hard core fan. Pleasantly introduced to Emily Deschanel-long time fan of DB. As the seasons progressed, I understand that the student/interns rotate now so there are different interns weekly since Zac left the show. The latest show where Angela is dating Wendell is just not believable, and Hodgins’ role is just sad. None of it passes the smell test. I want to see more of Brennans father and Booth’s son, and Hodgins and Angela. Somehow the show has gone from being more natural and real and believable situations and plots to more contrived, plots and lines. Has anyone noticed Brennan’s hair and make-up in the later episodes (Season 5), she used to look more natural and believable, now she always looks airbrushed in every scene. It’s becoming more sterile and careful, and less like discovery and serindipity. I love the show, so I will keep watching, but I hope HH and KR and all involved read this feedback. It was a GREAT show, don’t fix what wasn’t broke.

  • David4

This tease is REALLY starting to get old. They need to find better arcs for these characters and the show.

    • Amber

I agree, so much! Dump the tease and let’s see better storylines and actual character development for ALL the characters.

    • XK

I’d settle for ANY character arcs at all. As it is, characters seem to be changed on a daily basis to fit whatever they need them to be for that storyline. There is no consistency at all in characters from week to week.

I was just watching a Bones rerun from season 2 the other day… the difference is amazing.

    • Dondi

I sooooooo agree that the “company tease line” is wearing on everyone! I still watch this show but it admittedly has lost a lot of steam since the “Gormagon’s apprentice reveal” for me. The weak/unbelievable reveal/resolution of the Gravedigger and was maddening. I hold Hart Hanson fully responsible accountable for that, and his ” BB do it tease that was nothing” in the finale really irritated me. If I didn’t like the characters/actors so much, I wouldn’t be coming back, but since I’ve invested a lot of my life with this show, I am only going to give Hanson the first half of this coming season to keep/lose me for good. Prove me wrong Hart!

      • jenn

They totally threw away what could’ve been really great with the Gravedigger. Aliens in a Spaceship was probably the best episode of Bones, and then they resolved it in such a cheap way.

Personally, I’m tired of this feeling of will they/won’t they. They love each other, obviously, and are great partners together. Why isn’t that enough? They don’t have to have sex/get married/have a baby together to be a successful couple.

      • Gillian

Gravedigger will be back for a court trial. The letter that Brennan wrote will come up as evidence. Not much evidence to prove that Taffet is the Gravedigger.

  • Sofi

    hahahaha TJ!

  • lyra

i looove david and emily, they’re hottt, can’t wait till that sink’s episode, :D

  • S5 DOA

I agree that it has gotten old. I used to be a huge BB shipper but they just waited too long. Seasons 1-3 had so much more depth and had some real character development. It seems like lately they have been all over the place (maybe because of the episodes being out of order) and the show has gotten way too cheesy while trying to force the chemistry. The sink scene David mentioned pretty much proves my point.

David and Emily are good actors, they don’t need something contrived like that to have a good BB moment. Either drop these contrived situations and write a sincere moment (highly unlikely) or else bring back some good story lines instead of all this “will they won’t they” junk. It’s been overdone. You had your chance but you waited way too long. Even though I love this show it is mainly for the laughs now, not for the relationship which died a long time ago.

I think it’s time for the show to go in a new direction. Drop the BB plot and try something new. I know many BB shippers are hating me right now (even though I used to be one of them) but the chemistry isn’t what it used to be. If you don’t believe me go watch an episode from season 1 or 2.

Please come up with some new material Hart, we desperately need it.

    • Mandy

Maybe because I’m a new viewer, I love the show. I’ve purchased all the old reruns and found the show got better with each season. Although, if I had to pick I’d say season 3 was my all time favorite. The chemistry and relationship between B&B have grown over the years, due probably to the actors being more comfortable with one another. If season 5 is as good as 1-4, I’m going to be one happy viewer.

      • Gillian

I agree. Never really liked season 4, but I’m looking forward to what’s going to happen. But the chemistry isn’t really that much anymore. They overdid it. I, too, want a sincere moment. A sincere moment is what I’m looking for to revive the show. They should really stop trying and let the chemistry flow naturally.

      • kcn

I agree – I love this show, every season!! I don’t understand why everyone is bashing it lately. It has always been cheesey, it has always been formulaic and the characters have often been malleable and manipulated to service the plot. But I love it anyway – it is fun, the acting is great, the characters are great – to take it too seriously is a mistake. If you want high art, read a book or watch a foreign movie.

  • leek

Did David get punched in the mouth or is he packing chew?

    • k

I know! I couldn’t figure it out either. I hope it’s not chew. Ick.

      • jenn

        noticed it, too! gross.

  • dave

u know whats old ? this show…. surprised it hasnt been cancelled….havent they run out of storylines revolving around “bones” ?

  • m

Why’s everyone so overwhelmingly negative? We get DB in a wet shirt, for Christ’s sake, we should all have some gratitude.

    • Amber

Maybe, because not everyone who watches this show is shallow enough to care if DB is in a wet shirt. I’ve been a long time DB fan way before Bones. I know he’s amazingly hot. However, I’d rather see him challenge his acting range with a nice, serious, storyline than see him with a wet shirt.

We’re not negative. We just don’t tolerate what Hart Hanson is giving us. A dumbed-down version of Bones, with pod characters. Some people like it. That’s fine. Some people don’t like it. That’s fine, too.

      • Mikos

Amber, maybe you want to take yourself less seriously – like don’t call someone else shallow when you’re just gabbing about a tv show. This is the fun – light side of living, watching tv.

And what’s with the “we”. Are you the voice of the Not Tolerating Bones coalition or something?

      • Angela

Thank you, this is exactly correct. I realize many of the shippers are all willing to hang in there just in case the writers decide to give Brennan and Booth a two minute “moment” in the last 30 seconds of the show. And while Emily and David do their best, it’s gotten to the point where it hardly makes the other 40 minutes worth sitting through. I loved this show up until this last season, well, actually starting with the London episode last season. What they’ve done to the characters is just plain lousy, lazy writing week after week. If bones had always been crappy, I can see just watching for the “pretty” and leaving it at that. But it used to have compelling multi-dimensional characters. Now it’s like they’ve all have Dissociative Identity Disorder

  • Mandy

I’m looking forward to season 5,

  • Mandy

Nice clips, I’m looking forward to season 5 everything I’ve read has me excited.I really want to see the character development for Booth, Bones, Cam and Sweets.

  • steve

Looking forward to season 5. I was never a BB Shipper so dont mind the whole teases of will they wont they. Also for me its not all about the sexual tension between bones and booth its just the chemistery they have in general that makes this show.

  • Flor

Hodgins and Angela were holding hands :D

    • Cass

That wasn’t Michaela Conlin. It was some other woman.
