Monk is injecting a little star power into its final season.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that Oscar-nominated Sideways actress Virginia Madsen has booked a three-episode arc on the USA comedy. She’ll play T.K. Jensen, a love interest for Ted Levine’s Stottlemeyer.
Monk’s eighth and final season kicks off this Friday.

I didn’t even realize they were still making new episodes of Monk! Virginia looks like Bitty..
i thought he was married on the show?? i know on one episode (about the murdered 100 yr old guy) his wife made a documentary about him?
They got divorced because Stottlemeyer had Monk follow her because he thought she was having an affair. He later dated a real estate agent who turned out to be a killer

I’m excited to see Stottlemeyer finally meet a nice/normal woman…which hopefully she is!
I miss Sharona!. This is an awesome show. Tony Shaloub deserves his Emmys.
