No, Dan is not. The actor (Paul) has opted to not return for One Tree Hill season 7. Deb (Barbara) has barely been in season six, and she wants to spend time with her family.
Whatever they do nothing is going to replace CH. Bring on all the pretty all they want. Nothing isn’t going to make those missing pieces right. There will always be a hole and all the pretty people in the world isn’t going to change that. Getting people that can somewhat act and are just eye candy isn’t replacing CHem.

well since karen and whitey havent been there since s4 no big lose there. the actor who plays skills is mostly likely going to jail. dont know about dan, dont really care about deb, she hasnt had nothing to do since s4. as for lucas and peyton oh well.
season 7 is going to be great.
I would have maybe considered watching if Riegel got the part cause I’m a fan of hers, but let’s be real, OTH should have probably been cancelled a few seasons ago. It just isn’t as good as it used to be.
Quinn, Taylor and Haley. I think we know who got the short end of the exotic name stick!!! Seriously, why more of Haley’s family? Like, who cares? They should make Victoria a series regular so we can see tons of bickering between her and Brooke, esp since she seems to disapprove of Julian. And why not bring back Sam’s friend so she could have a friend her own age on the show!!! Maybe Dan will finally die….
I think she is way too young to play Haley’s older sister. She is significantly younger than the actress playing Haley, so I don’t think that casting her to play Haley’s older sister is such a wise casting choice. Also, she kind of looks more like she would be related to Rachel, than Haley. I guess we’ll have to wait until the season premiere to see if this actress can pull off being Haley’s older sister.

let’s face it, it’s not one tree hill without lucas and peyton. the original point of the show was the two brothers growing up in different worlds in the same town. there aren’t even two brothers on the show anymore. they can cast as many new characters as they like, but this is not one tree hill. one tree hill ended when chad and hilarie left.
Key words “original premise”. I understand feeling like something will be missing but you neglect to acknowledge that the different worlds/same town deal ended after the first year as they were then part of the “same world.” The brothers part continued but as long as they got along the “orignal” premise was gone. The original premise of Beverly Hills 90210 was a family moving from Minnesota to Beverly Hills and experiencing culture shock. The shock wore off within season 2 by half way through the series 3/4 of the family was gone. For the last year and a half the main star was gone. Yes ratings dipped at the end but the show still was able to have a big fanbase regardles (of course their fanbase was always bigger than one tree hills is now). So I agree that it will be different but of all of the complaints, using the original premise as a justification when it ended years ago, is ridiculous. New characters CAN excite fans. It’s happened with many shows after losing lead stars!
I agree with the above man or woman but also MereBelle, To me the show won’t be the same but it can still go on. It didn’t with some shows but it has with others and I think that it will with One Tree Hill but only for another year or two.
