When it comes to scooping their own shows, spies don’t get silent, they get downright chatty! Case in point: Jeffrey Donovan dropped by Ausiello TV last week to discuss his little cable phenomenon known as Burn Notice and among the many spoilers he unleashed was this bombshell about the July 30 midseason finale: “Michael’s personal life with Fiona is going to come to a tumultuous fight that will almost probably end their relationship.” To find out what else Donovan let slip during our revealing sit-down, and to get answers to your burning questions about Michael’s invisible shower and MIA dad, click the play button after the jump!

What a great interview ! But really ? MOST people turn in just because of Michael and Fi’s relationship? While I find the relationship interesting and fresh – it’s certainly not the main reason I tune in.
This is one of the best character driven shows that I’ve seen in a long time. Each one of them interesting in their own way.
Holy Hell…I’m getting excited. Did he just say that Burn Notice will be filming in season 7? I know that he was being witty, but is there a chance it could go that long? I hope so.
GAH! I love Jeffrey Donovan and risked being burned at work just to watch this video! The upcoming developments sound really exciting–can’t wait. I’m so glad we get such a great show ‘off-season’. Fi and Michael’s relationship doesn’t cause me to watch, but I do enjoy it, so I’m looking forward to that mid-season finale.
A USC football in the background?!?! Good work, Ausiello! Fight on!
It’s one of the few shows where the relationship doesn’t turn me off. But I watch it because it’s smart and funny and the characters are all such characters.
Loved the interview. Love “Burn Notice.”
I just remembered that I forgot to set a season pass for “Burn Notice.” I may have missed episode 2.
I tune in looking forward to some hot Michael and Fi sex.
RustNeverSleeps – episode 2 should air tonight. I watch them online @ Surfthechannel.com
I love this show. i cant wait for the dvd release of season 2 as i missed most of the season because of work. if USA ever cancels this show without at least bringing it to a logicval and good closure point, i swear, ill never watch that station again.
Don’t get carried away in your fantasies guys, I couldn’t care less about their relationship, In generally I think Gabrielle Anwar is borderline annoying, and when ever she is supposed to make lovey dovey eyes at him she goes into very annoying territory.
Chuck and Sarah? Oh yes, get them together now. Michael and Fi, enough of that rubbish, and shoot somebody instead!
I hardly think the relationship between Michael and Fi is the reason most people watch the show, although I do enjoy it. However, I watch it for the story and for the amazingly talented and entertaining ensemble cast. I have heard that Tyne Daly will guest star and I look forward to seeing Cagney and Lacey back together.
Love BN and love Michael/Fiona and these two are HOT & SEXY and entertaining to watch so bring on the fireworks and explosions LOL !!
Burn Notice is the best show on TV for the writing, humor, action, and characters. Some episodes – Hot Spot, Lesser Evil, Bad Breaks – are as good as movies. Great interview. It has been a long 3 months waiting for Season 3.
To n8chavez: JD (I think I can get away with it) explained on Regis and Kelly that he’s contractually obligation through Season 7 should the show continue. So keep hoping this show keeps up with its awesome writing, acting, etc.
And on a side note, I actually like Mike and Fi’s relationship as is, but would like to see them back together at some point. The chemistry is there.
