Although I’m mostly over conventional sitcoms — with the hysterical fans in the audience who laugh at anything, and the freak character who gets the big laugh every time he walks in the door (wearing a flowered robe, perhaps). But,you know, Big Bang actually works for me. Maybe it’s b/c back in the day I was a physics-astronomy major (totally irrelevant to my life today, but I like to get it out there once in awhile). The show is fun to watch, and like all great sitcoms, the best moments are when the group is all together in the living room talking (and in the case of TBB eating Chinese food). And if there’s an Emmy for opening title sequence, this baby has to take it.

Michael Ausiello U R the only columnist worth reading and I try to read your tasty tidbits at least once a week. I was wondering if you did a survey of all the prime time shows only that are on NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX and what ever “hit” shows are on the other networks and have your readers rate the shows on a scale of 1-5. I have been looking for something like this for a long time, so that at the very least I can put in my 2 cents.

@Mike: Chi McBride certainly can submit last Saturday’s episode of Pushing Daises. It is indeed eligible for this year’s Emmys under the rules. And Chi McBride is definitely on the Emmy ballot. Feel better?

Thank God Lee and Anna submitted their names for the ballot! They, along with the entire “Daisies” cast and crew, deserve it. If one of them doesn’t win an Emmy, there is noooo justice in this world. Bryan Fuller should get an Emmy for writing, too. Just sayin’.
