The Force will be with Heroes next season.
British actor Ray Park, whose role as Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace made him an icon to fanboys far and wide, is joining the cast for a sizeable arc. Additionally, Deanne Bray (Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye, The L Word) has inked a deal to come on board for multiple episodes.
Who are they playing and how long will they be sticking around for? Keep reading for the scoop…
Little is known about Park’s role, except that he’s playing one of the colorful characters at the center of the show’s Carnivale-esque storyline. (My guess? He’s the character described in the breakdowns as “Knife Thrower.”)
Bray, meanwhile, will play a deaf love interest for one of the main Heroes. As I previously reported, the part specifically called for a deaf actress. (So much for my campaign to get Jericho’s Shoshannah Stern the gig!)
In addition to Park and Bray, Heroes‘ fourth season will welcome Prison Break’s Robert Knepper (as a new villain) and Californication’s Madeline Zima (as Claire’s quirky college roommate).
Thoughts?

Maybe Park will play Toad.
Wow they are really going hard for next season. All or nothing for NBC and this show.
In Canada, Heroes will air on Sundays, so I’ll watch it again.

I’ll stick with Mondays on NBC – Global totally sucks
It’ll be fun to see what a Heroes arc looks like with Bryan Fuller planning it from the start. He could only do so much to steer Vol 4 midstream.

I was rooting for Shoshannah, too…it’s a shame. She’s great.
Knepper is great. Now if they’d only bring in the guy who played the General on Prison Break — that would be awesome.
To bad House will Finish off this show

Frankly, House blew last season. Seriously. Only the finale will draw be back to the premier, but it gets ONE shot and then I’m done with House MD. I think Heroes is in decent shape to draw an audience. Plus, there are a LOT of people like me (and more everyday) that never really watches live TV (or even watches a TV show within 24 hours of airtime). I’m so tired of people complaining about ‘deathslots’, etc. Break the habit and get modernized: watch TV when it’s convenient to you, in the order that you want it.

It’ gonna take a lot more than a Sith lord to turn this show around!
Let me get this straight. The problem was too big a cast. We kill of a couple characters and add four more!? I’m worried.
New cast members don’t worry me they probably be killed off after they served their use thats what Heroes does… and its getting really annoying!
Ray Park is ridiculous. After Star Wars: The Movie Menace, he was charging way too much for his autograph and just came across as an arrogant, greedy jerk. He’s not Harrison Ford. British “Actor”?… when has he ever acted? He’s jumped around a lot, but haven’t seen anything close to acting. I’ll pass on Heroes this upcoming season if I have to see him every week. Thanks NBC! You’ve almost removed all need to watch you!

Danko did not die at the end of the finale so what happens to this Character.
It would be just like this show(of which I am addicted and I can’t seem to give up no matter what they do) to get Ray Park and not even bother his ridiculous stunt/fighting skills. They will prob just have him throw a few knives and then get killed.
carnivale huh? it seeems like the show is going to get campier and campier until it becomes an absolute parody of itself like Xmen 3 did. whatever. i’m still not excited.

So…..does this mean the producers of Heroes are done with exploiting the Star Trek fanbase and have moved on to Star Wars?
I’ve got a great idea! Instead of hiring new actors, how about some new writers… This show has become the most ridiculous, contradictory, mess of worthless trite that has ever existed. Don’t these invalids realize that sci-fi fans are actually fairly intelligent and can see through these inept plot lines… How about the executives of this show time travel back to season 1 and get a clue… TOTAL DRIVEL!!!
a famous actor will arrtact many people ,such as Shoshannah,i think she is good .

geez people, yeah Ray Park sucks but whatever, BRYAN FULLER IS BACK! So anybody who liked Season One will probably like Season 4, did anyone else notice how much better Volume 4 got in the second half right around Cold Snap? Go watch Pushing Daisies and Dead Like Me. The creator of both of those shows(and Heroes writer for Season One aka the season that did not suck at all) is B A C K!
Robert Knepper is coming to Heroes?!! This might just be what will make me tune in again, that man is a genius!
The heat is on Folks. I can feel my Adrenaline rising to the top. Let the Carnivale like story of Heroes begin.
Aw man. Don’t get my hopes up like that! I was hoping you meant Peter ‘he of the booming voice’ Serafinowicz…
This show is the worst written drivel on TV and the next season will probably be its last. I have a feeling that Heroes will not be able to compete in the Chuck time-slot. House will crush it, too bad The Big Bang Theory was moved as it would have added to the carnage.
I just hope Heroes returns to its strength: an impelling story about characters (sometimes in a group), many of whom happen to have some special abilities.
The show has gotten weaker for me when it was just a whole bunch of superheroes and less stress on those who do not have superpowers and less stress on the characters and more on “nifty” abilities.
Some of the best episodes are those that focus more on a single character or group of characters as that allows the plot and characters to grow more, potentially.
I’m still missing Kirsten Bell and run-fast girl.
I am very excited for Heroes Season 4!! So many of the comments posted here are from folks who haven’t watched in a while. EW (the magazine) should give Heroes a little more love.
