Neil Patrick Harris made off with one of my Smurfs. No lie. The How I Met Your Mother scene-snatcher and host of this Sunday’s Tony Awards dropped by yesterday to talk about, you know, life and stuff and walked away with one of my prized little blue buddies. It’s not like he stole it though. Please, each one of those guys is rigged with their own ADT alarm. No, I offered the Dream Emmy Ballot nominee a piece of my legendary collection as a thank you for giving me an awesome interview that featured three of my favorite things: exclusive scoop, HIMYM sorta-spoilers, and an in-depth discussion about the comic genius that is Cobie Smulders. If that doesn’t warrant a Smurf I don’t know what does. But don’t take my word for it. Watch the video and judge for yourselves…

NPH is one of the few actors who’s just naturally awesome! I wish HIMYM was on a different day so I could watch it.

Is it weird that the fact that he’s completely unattainable in pretty much every way (he’s famous, he lives on the other side of the country from me, and oh yeah, I’m a straight woman), also kinda makes him WAY hotter to me?

cobie is fantastic, and so so so underrated… im glad she’s finally getting the recognition she deserves. i like how neil is always showering her with praise.
and how lovely is neil. he oozes charm. i hope the tony’s will be broadcast here in my country, but i think my chances are slim.

Gimplygump – honestly, you didn’t miss anything. I would probably watch NPH recite the alphabet, but this was a little disappointing in that there was nothing revealing at all. He gushed about Cobie, he didn’t know what the writers had planned for Robin and Barney (he said maybe they’ll be a couple for 3 eps and be done, but he didn’t know), and he didn’t know when the next slaps would be. It was all speculation. Really, you didn’t miss anything remotely spoiler-ish.
