How else to explain an episode of Ausiello TV that features an exclusive (and rather spoilery) scene from next week’s change-of-pace House, plus some red-hot casting scoop that combines elements of Friday Night Lights, The Bachelor, and CSI: Miami? Please! Foreman talking about Thirteen! can House get more boring?
Okay, you’ve convinced me. As soon as I catch up on Lost, I’m going to start watching Chuck. Clearly it is one of those brilliant shows that is incredibly underrated (in both senses of the word). As a champion for the poor little shows that should be big hits but end up getting unjustly cancelled (i.e. Pushing Daisies, Veronica Mars), I’ll try to do my part to save another good one from the guillotine.

Why is “House” mimicking “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly”?
What a coincidence…I just watched that movie yesterday.
Cool idea, but really? The whole concept of locked-in syndrome on film, shot in that exact 1st person subjective camera style, has already been done, and exceedingly well I might add. Why does “House” need to recreate it? They should be trying to do something fresh and new.
Props on the Chuck promotion though. Good show that more people should definitely be watching.
People need to watch Chuck so it comes back next season. Or someone should make a Chuck fansite that proves that a lot of people love this show and don’t want to see it go anywhere. And yeah, that episode was on tonight and it was awesome. But what about the death on Chuck? Can you give us any information on that?

Chuck is definitely one of those shows that is criminally underrated, much like Pushing Daisies or Veronica Mars. The strike set the show back and then it seemed like NBC didn’t bother to re-promote it much. I just rewatched the first season on DVD and it’s one of the funniest, cleverest, most enjoyable shows on tv right now.
Thank you so much for the Chuck shoutout! Great show that deserves more viewers! Anyone who wants to save the show, I don’t think sending anything in will help. But if you’re going to spend money at least spend it on downloading eps from itunes, they already know current fans are loyal!

That patient on the House clip is definitely speaking for me. I am so bored by Foreman and Thirteen and the whole Foreteen relationship, I wish they would both die or just leave instead of sucking the life out of the show.

I have high hopes for the change-of-pace House. I do hope they do something about the show because, honestly, it can go downhill if they don’t up their game. Season 5 is usually a TV slump for most shows. So please don’t fall on that House, I love you too much.
Oh and 3 words: CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK. This show is so consistent on being a satisfying and just completely entertaining. Never have I seen a disappointing episode. It’s brilliant. Yet, it gets so much less attention than it deserves. If you ask me, just as good-or probably even better-than most shows out there.

Even at a minute and a half that was painful. Aussie…love your column, but you are a personality to be read and not seen. This could easily have been turned into a column with an embedded clip of House. No point is seeing your mug and bad line delivery. “Serious” Ausiello is slightly less painful than “wacky” Ausiello…kinda like how a pitchfork through your chest is slightly less painful than a pickaxe to your head. They’ll both kill you though. And so will watching you.
Where’s the more you promised? All there is is a really boring clip from House with a character that really should get killed off, and some random casting from CSI: Horatio.

Yes, Dave. No doubt we’ll hear Thirteen talking about Foreman! zzzzzzzzz. Other than that, this episode looks like it will be very interesting.
I’m not big on ‘14′, I do enjoy all characters though.
My family(4 boys 2 girls including myself and both parents) and I watch together every week, and they are CRAZY about Foreman and 13. It’s slowly converting me as well.

Recap:
1. Adrienne Palicki (Tyra Collette) from Friday Night Lights will guest star on an upcoming episode of CSI Miami.
2. A clip from next week’s House, in which Foreman whines about how he saved money for 6 months to buy jewelry for his first girlfriend, only to have her hate it. He’s never bought jewelry again until now for 13, who (duh) hates it, as well. The character (who you can hear thinking while Foreman talks) is making some pretty funny comments. Looks like an interesting episode, despite the House writers’ determination to continue on with the horrid new team (sorry — that’s my input there).
3. Not sure where anyone is getting anything about Chuck, but that wasn’t in this clip.
Chuck is definitely under-rated! Like someone said on this board, there has never been a “bad” episode and the shows are always consistent in terms of good quality entertainment. I’m so glad I started watching from day 1. CHUCK! CHUCK! CHUCK!
