“That’s right,” says CSI: NY executive producer Peter Lenkov. “We lose a member of our family [in the season finale] — and that’s just in the first 10 minutes.”
The other 50 minutes of the hour will probably be pretty killer, too. Leading up to it is episode 5.22, titled “Yarzheit,” which features not only Lou Grant… er, Ed Asner but also comic legend Shelley Berman. In this one, “Our CSIs find themselves investigating a crime that takes them into the world of racism and bigotry, only to uncover a deep, dark secret that dates back to the Holocaust,” teases Lenkov. “Also in this episode, Mac will learn something about his father he never knew.
“And in the season finale” — which also has Craig T. Nelson winding up his arc — “the CSI: NY team is on the trail of a team of sophisticated kidnappers-turned-cop killers,” he continues. “Their crime will forever change the CSI: NY lineup.”

I’m guessing they attempt to kill Lindsay but end up killing the baby.
As long as it’s not Danny or Flack, I don’t really care.
Please, don’t let it be any of the main cast. I love Danny, Lindsay, Mac, Stella, Flack, and Hawkes.
I think it’ll have to be Hawkes or Adam, just by process of elimination. (Mac and Stella are the headliners, Danny and Lindsay have the baby storyline.) Or it could be Flack or Angell. Actually, that’s probably most likely, since the bad guys are described as “cop-killers.” Ugh, this is sad! I don’t want any of the characters to die!
Please let it be Hawkes, I don’t care as much about him.
I am guessing Det. Angell. She never really seemed to be a big part of the episodes anyway.
It can’t be Flack!! He’s my favourite and he’s pretty hot. I don’t want any of them 2 die but if someone has to I hope it’s Hawkes or Angell.
It’ll be Lindsay…. the actress probably wants a break from acting once she has the baby. Poor Danny….but the baby will probably live because Danny struggling as a single father will make for good side stories
Please, do not kill off any of the main cast. They’re all awesome and the show will not be the same if one of them dies.
one of the family?…well it can’t be Mac…can’t be Stella..Danny???..don’t think so…Hawkes??? only black character on the show – however if the episode deals with racism??? Flack??? lead contact with the cops…Lindsay??? boring as it is…all I can say is NOT MY ADAM!!!! stop with the subtle flirting and let his character get together with Stella…I’m banking on the doc if not Hawkes

I don’t want anybody to die – I wouldn’t mind if Lindsay left (in fact, I’d prefer it), but I want everybody to stay *alive*.

Looking at the description, it seems likely we’re going to lose a “cop”, as someone else pointed out already. If that’s the case, it seems to take Hawkes (since Lindsay pointed out that he’s not a cop) and Adam (being the lab rat) out of the equation. One of them *could* be the one that dies, but if that’s the case, they’re being misleading with the “cop killer” line.

It makes me wonder if this might be why they emphasized Danny being a cop in “The Party’s Over”. Or why they’re being so rushy-rushy with the Happily Ever After for Danny and Lindsay.

I can’t see them killing Lindsay unless Anna *asked* to leave – they aren’t going to get rid of someone who just had a baby.

As much as I like Angell, I think she’s a likely candidate simply because she’s a cop and she’s a more disposable character. That would suck, though.

Miami lost Speed through Death ( although not recent)and Alexx left
CSI NY lost Aiden through Death (not recent and personally not a huge deal to me)

If they really want to shock audiences, I think Lindsay could be a strong candidate. Anna Belknap has 2 babies to raise now and I think she could be leaning towards leaving.
Emanuelle Vaugier (Det. Angell) isn’t even a series regular so I don’t think it’s going to be her. But she is disposable.
Adam and Sid pretty stay in the office, so I don’t think it’s either of them either.
Okay, this is a off-subject of the topic. Did we see Lindsey and Danny, um consumate thier love? When was that?
Please let it be Hawkes. His character is annoying. I like Linds. If she died, we’d all have to endure Danny going off the deep end and, frankly, Danny is needy and annoying enough.
My guess is it is one of three:
1. Lindsay, but only if Anna Belknap has decided to quit after having her baby. That said I think this is the least likely of my top three since we have had a whole lot of ‘Danny and Lindsay will struggle with the baby’ teasers which suggest she isn’t going anywhere.
2. Hawkes. Again, down to the actor’s plans. Hill Harper has a lot of interests outside CSI:NY and possibly he has decided he wants to concentrate on those and so is being written out.
3. Angell. She’s not a main character but has been in enough episodes to be known by the viewers plus she is involved in a relationship with Flack so that would add to the trauma plus set up a nice storyline for Eddie Cahill next season (which I am sure he would do wonderful things with).
So, on balance I’m guessing Angel!

Sonya: Danny and Lindsay had sex in the season three finale, “Snow Day” – and they’ve done it at least once since then because Lindsay is pregnant.

Angell isn’t a series reg, but she’s been around since the season 3 premiere – so they could consider her part of the ‘family’. Plus, she’s dating Flack now, which makes it more *personal*.

As much as I’d love for Danny to go away forever, I’m betting on Angell.

I think it will be Angell. She isn’t a series regular, but she is in almost every episode. Plus she is a cop and the article mentioned a “cop-killer.” This would also give Flack a very good storyline for next season. As long as it isn’t Mac, Stella, Danny, Lindsey, Flack or Adam.
It would be beyond cruel if it were Lindsay or Danny.
It’s gonna be either Adam or Sid, but I wish it was Stella. MK did a better job on Guiding Light, IMO.
It’s going to be Angell, this person is going to die in the first 10 minutes of the show. If it was anyone else they’d wait to the last minute to keep everyone watching. Angell will die, probably because of getting involved with Stella’s Greek Coin thing.
I doubt it would by Danny or Lindsay since they’re going to have a baby and killing off a new mother/father is beyond cruel. What they will probably do is name the baby after the dead character.
