Seriously? Wouldn’t people/the Chief/her own daughter have noticed her pregnant while wearing those conveniently fitted scrubs? Unless 30-something year old Mer moved out of her mother’s house 20-something years ago…

Please no new sibling for Meredith. Meredith and her dad still need to work things out. The cast is huge as it is. The chief would have known she was pregnant and I love the vibe between Lexie&Meredith but the show never lets them bond on screen, so there is no need for another sibling. I mean Lexie and Meredith both have a sibling and newphew out there that never gets seen and like I said the issues Meredith can have without that and with a huge cast it’s not needed. No to another new sibling on Grey’s

It’s a little like Brothers & Sisters with GA’s possible Mer has a new sibbling plot line-only WAY worse and the fact that fans have seen this coming and talking about it online for months says that Shonda should avoid it. In other words, it’s coming no matter how horrible the thought of it is. Let’s see Derek had marital amnesia, now Meredith who can remember EVERY last part of her life, cannot remember Ellis being pregnant? She needs a neurosurgeon pronto and GA needs a new show runner STAT.
Meredith already has two half-sisters she hardly knows or talks to. Another MIA sibling could GreysAnatomy jump the shark anymore??
That is stupid they need to put it off forever. If they bring on a lovechild sibling for Meredith ABC needs to FIRE Shonda Rhimes stat! Ship her off to Bold & the Beautiful.
Shonda please, don’t do this storyline. It might have worked had you not already introduced Lexie, but you have. What was the point of bringing her on the show if her and Meredith aren’t even going to talk? Explore the siblings you’ve already introduced without bringing on more, please. Not to mention there are already WAY too many people on this show. We don’t need any more. All I have to say is that I hope if you don’t do this storyline it won’t mean that Meredith gets less screentime. I do like storylines that revolve around her.
yeah, Shonda should have done this instead of introducing Lexie. Now its just jumping the shark… like when McLeod’s Daughters kept popping up daughters and cousins. It was never the same again.
Famke is so much better than some cheap remake. I’m glad she passed.
As for Grey’s .. ugh. This is still technically speculation, though Ausiello kind of reports it as fact. I really hope they don’t do the half-brother storyline. I actually thought they were going to make the Cheif Meredith’s real dad (in the trailer for the episode, way back, when Meredith drowned in the river .. When they were trying to bring her back to life, the Cheif said “She can’t die. She’s my ..” and trailed off. I always thought he was going to say “daughter”)
ANYWAY I hope they don’t do it. They already did a half-sibling storyline with Lexie. Must they do another?
I don’t believe the Grey’s “spoiler” one bit. Meredith would know if her mom was pergnant and had another baby. She lived with her, the affair went on while she was a little girl. That’s the reason Thatcher left. There would be know way Meredith would have not known about her mom having a baby, even if she was 5 or 6 years old.

You are soooo right about the last episode of Big Love. I was blown away. They managed to do so much in one hour-Uh-mazing!

Emma, do you even WATCH this show? The last person other than Derek Mer has slept with was in mid S2. It’s now heading towards the end of S5. What an absolutely dumb comment since Mer has had one guy for the past 3 seasons. In the same amount of time Izzie has slept with 2 plus a dead guy, Addison has had 3 if we include PrP, Lexie has had 2. ALL have had more than the Meredith character since the end of S2. Maybe you should start watching the show before you make a comment.
I gave up on this silly show a long time ago and it looks like i did the right thing.

Grey’s writing is getting INSANE. Another sibling for Meredith she doesn’t know about. WTF Greys Anatomy Dennys ghost wasn’t enough you have to make this the most unrealistic show ever??? UGH I give up on this crap
Shonda, stop please. Just stop. There’s no way you could make me believe that Ellis Grey was pregnant 20-odd years ago and Little Mer didn’t know. That just insane! Now if this kid is a product of Richard’s affair with SOMEONE ELSE, then I could by it. But seriously Shonda. You’ve got 12 characters to deal with in 43 minutes. Concentrate on them. Please.
