• The latest Grey’s Anatomy rumor making the rounds has Shonda Rhimes mulling a bait and switch that would find terminally ill Izzie living and George dying. Oh, wait, I forgot — neither of them is leaving (wink, wink). In other Seattle Grace happenings, Grey’s scribe Pete Nowalk sprinkled some cryptic teases into his lengthy postmortem on last night’s episode. The big takeaway: Mer-Der "is not going where you think."
• Fox just released the following logline for the March 9 episode of House, titled "The Social Contract": House and the team take on the case of Nick (The Shield’s Jay Karnes), a book editor who loses his inhibition and starts insulting coworkers at a dinner party one night before falling ill. The team realizes Nick has frontal lobe inhibition, which has caused him to lose his filter and vocalize all of his innermost thoughts, resulting in extremely insulting outbursts. As Nick’s free speech lends to some amusing and insightful comments regarding the team, he must deal with the consequences of being unable to lie to his wife and everyone else important in his life. Meanwhile, House suspects Wilson and Taub are keeping something from him when he catches them both in a lie. House is determined to get to the bottom of it."
• Pushing Daisies‘ Raul Esparza has booked an ep of Law & Order: Criminal Intent that starts shooting next week. He’ll play a shady district attorney in a Goren-centric episode. BTW, USA Network has announced an April 19 premiere date for CI’s eighth season. Better late than never!
• Speaking of Daisies, the show’s final three episodes will screen at PaleyFest09. Tickets are available via ticketweb.com, and believe me when I tell you that the finale alone is worth the $15 admission charge. I just watched it and it’s fanfreakingtastic. If you’ve got a burning Q, e-mail me and I’ll try to include an answer in next week’s AA.
• Is it just me, or did the majority of Supernatural fans skim right past the line in this week’s AA where I tease a pivotal death coming up? I don’t think it was just me.
• Henry Winkler is reprising his role as Agent Bloom on Numb3rs later this season.
• At the risk of sounding like a broken record, watch Big Love this Sunday, people. I don’t throw the word masterpiece around often, but it definitely applies here. Also, I counted at least a dozen "WTFOMG!" moments, including one featuring Ben, Margene and not a single piece of clothing.

Supernatural Death?? What? What’d I miss??? Tell me now, Ausiello!
so they aren’t even airing the final episodes of Pushing Daisies on TV? can we at least see them online?
You were right, Aussie. Jenny and the one other Supernatural missed it.
so those of us that cannot go to PaleyFest have to wait for Pushing Daisies on dvd?!? Please say no because that would stink big time!!!
Supernatural death?! Well, they can’t kill the winchester brothers, right? Then there’d be no show… So who else is a regular… Bobby? Or are they immediately killing off this new brother that pops up?! Details, immediately please!
I didn’t miss it…but I don’t know–there aren’t many ‘major characters’ as far as SPN goes, so I guess it wasn’t hard to narrow down? Can’t be Sam or Dean because then Kripke = crazy and he’s not; if it’s Ruby or Dean’s angel girl I don’t think most fans would be heartbroken (I don’t say that in a mean way, I like them both, it’s only that most fans aren’t tied to them). Only other person who counts as major then? Bobby. So I’ll throw out a general ‘grrr’ if that’s the case, because I really like Bobby.
But, hey, this is a show called “Supernatural”. Doesn’t mean whoever ‘dies’ can’t come back in some form…
Wow! Only $15 bucks to see the final three pushing daisies epi’s??? Oh wait. Plus the plane ticket or gas for the car to get there since I don’t live in CA. Then there’s the hotel or cost of a ticket for sleeping in my car. Food, but that’s not really necessary is it? Time off of work…But that’s it? That’s all I have to do for three episodes that I should have gotten to see for free?? Yeah! and by Yeah I mean “Oy, those stupid, freaking, tv execs, razafrazen…I’m so glad I gave up tv.”
We didn’t skim past the Supernatural line. There just wasn’t a whole lot to talk about … we need more
First of all, thank God you got Twitter.
Next, OMGWTF NO CLOTHES?! I won’t even wait for it to come in OnDemand this week, I promise!
What about those of us who live in NYC and can’t get to Paley Fest? I want my PD closure, dammit! Please tell me if: Emerson reunites with his wife and/or daughter, what happens with Ned and his dad, if the aunts ever find out that Chuck’s still alive, if Vivian learns the truth about Chuck’s parentage, if Olive finds out about Ned’s power, if Chuck leaves Ned so Olive and Ned are finally able to consummate their relationship (oh wait, that’s the fanfiction in my head, sorry about that one). Whew, that’s a lot of questions. Just answering one would make me deliriously happy!
Oscars schmoscars. Me want Big Love!
Well, yeah, with the plane ticket and the hotel and the car and the gas…well the $15 is probably the cheapest thing. But honestly? SO WORTH IT. I’m packing up for California.
In actual fact they killed off both Winchester boys at some point. Both were raised from the dead. I suspect this has something to do with the unknown brother which in turns pits the two brothers against each other near the end of the season. See I am a pyschic after watching Supernatural
Wait, so you are telling me that I have to pay to see the finale of Pushing Daisies?!?!? that is such BULL SH!T!!! Is there some way to see it for free, like HULU or on ABC’s website? FRICK!
We didn’t skim the supernatural scoop, but it’s so huge I’d rather not know who it is!
Also, this brother is patently a one-off, some kind of figment of their imaginations, or maybe the trickster mucking around. Definitely not going to be a recurring character.
