I watched EVERY SEASON since the show began and even influencd others who became addicted each week! After seeing what happens to Michael and after watching "THE FINALE BREAK" I can honestly say FOX HAS CUASED ME TO LOSE SLEEP AND LEGITIMATELY CAUSE ME ANXIETY! Like Ive sat up at night since watching the Final and thought "Is there ANY way they'll bring this back" "How will Wentworth Miller EVER play as good of a role even if he is casted again" and honestly parts of me are just confused and agry and in shock that is REALLY did come to an end! But couldnt just have let Michael n Sara be happy together.. Michael definately didnt deserve that after everything.. Especially after we now know that if his mother (Christina) lived to be 40-50 then Michael COULD HAVE found a way to beat his condition! Maybe if enoug of us open LAWSUITS against FOX for pain n suffering they reconsider n bring it back (Hint to FOX: they didnt ACTUALLY SHOW Michael die at any point)

FOX has got to be retarded!! NOBODY WILL EVER PLAY AS BRILLIANT OF A ROLE AS MICHAEL!! This show was so suspenseful and addicting! I know AT LEAST 15 people who were just beginning to watch the Series (after hearing many reccomendations) that now are not going to bother! Every episode didnt fail ot leave you pheining for more due to the cliff-hangers!
And as others have said its been known since the end of the 1st Season they had 7 Seasons of material! Wy cut it short n kill off someone who was argueably the best character ever created on tv? At least leave a CHANCE so we can at least HOPE it would come back!

Seriously FOX.. U guys need to stop fukkin up! You cancelled "THE OC" prematurely after 4 Seasons only for him to go on to "Gossip Girl" which is great but nothing but an East Coast "OC" and have wide success with that.. the first few seasons were well written. the plot was fresh and imaginative. the script was good. the fourth season was just atrocious. you could tell they were just phoning it in. the same repetitive, predictable plot "twists" and the lines were so bad it was insulting to the good actors they had. i kept thinking, these can't be the same writers! which came first: the writing got bad after the decision to cancel the show or the show got cancelled because the writers forgot how to write???

I agree with about half you. The show did run as long as it can. I mean how many times can you get caught and escape? It was a great show, and it will be missed! It would be nice if they made some sort of a spin-off tho. Or maybe even a "childhood" version, kinda like "SmallVille" *shrug*

I'm 60+ years old and have never been for violent shows...however, Prison Break had such edge-of-the-seat drama, suspense, & wickedly evil characters (T-bag...so glad he didn't get away or off) that you couldn't wait to see the next show. Good writing guys....but I will miss my weekly treat! Time for it to end....with dignity and what else could Michael get out of? He and Sarah needed some good times before his demise. If he had stayed alive in 20 years the gov. bad guys would have been after him and his brilliant son.

nah. prison break was probably one of my favorite shows but its definitely "at the end of its run." just feels like the same crap over and over now. they get caught get away, almost get killed but get away. show was amazing but I think im actually glad theyre ending it here. they saw that they were at the end of their run and arent trying to drag the show on for 10 years. What people don't get is there are def. a lot of people who did not like Prison Break and that's fine everyone has a right to an opinion, but just because it's been "cancelled" at season 4 doesn't mean it was a bad show. I thought this show would only be a three season show at the most. The way the story was setup it couldn't be much more then that. It was never meant to be a 5, 10, 15 season show and it's not being cancelled because it's bad but just because there's nowhere else to go they accomplished what they set out to do, nothing fox could do could of changed this. I think they have been pretty inventive about keeping it going as long as they did so kudos for that at least, and yes this past season has been pretty good but it's gotta end.

Second, even if it didn't, they are totally out of material. That's what the director said even. Its not FOX's fault, its the studio who produces the show. I just saw a promo for the last episodes and went online to see it was canceled. I loved the first season and really have enjoyed this season. Thought 2 and 3 were kind of boring. While I will miss the show I am happy that they didn't keep dragging it on. I think you will see a lot of this cast in movies as well. Looking forward to the end.

This is an AMAZING show and I can't believe it got cancelled! When shows like ER run for 15 seasons, Smallville runs for 9+...and Prison Break only makes it 4? Something is wrong there. This show deserves another chance. If Fox knew how to market their shows, it would have more viewers, dammit.

This was an intense and captivating show from the gate. Since the "break out" I'm not sure it's lived up to first season. First season was so well thought out and we got a little taste of what was to come week by week. Very thoughtful from the beginning first episode. I have to say since the second season it's not the end of the world if I miss an episode. The last season started to get good again, the South American prison was too much. I will watch to see if my bros will make away with their freedom and family, what we all desire in this life. I am a sucker for a happy ending, but not a dead give away. Thanks FOX for the entertainment and thanks for 24! I love this show. I just started watching

The only reason the viewings went down was because 89% of people who were addicted to the fantastic series couldnt watch it anymore because it was put onto Sky and Sky was taken off of all the channel packages. nobody wants to pay extra to sky just to get sky1 and sky2. then sky was put back on the packages halfway through season 4 being shown on tv. i dont think many people want to start watching a series halfway through!

The Final season, BOO! I thought they were just getting started. With bring the idea of Mike & Links mom being alive, and nobody really knowing just what Scilla really is? I must say Boo! There are a few storylines twists and turns this series can become. With keeping us all in the dark with Scilla FOX could give Prison Break a good 5-6 more years. Ah, what? I thought there was going to be SIX more episode when the show came back. At least that is how Fox promoted it at the end of the winter finale, "Sunshine State" episode. Not to mention that the SIX promised episodes would make the usual 22-episode season. Where as FOUR would only give us a 20-episode season.

This had better not be the case. I mean it's bad enough that my fave show will be going off the air. But to get short-change like that, would be completely NOT FAIR.

This really is the perfect season to end the show with. It was a return to high quality after the mediocre Season 3, so it goes out on a high note, and the whole premise and events of this season have pointed it toward a conclusion that should be satisfying.

It had a great run, I loved almost every minute of this series, and I'm glad to see that it will be ending on a high note rather than being continued for the mere sake of continuing it. Great series and I hope there will be an equally excellent serial series in the fall for me to watch as a replacement.

Prison Break is one of the best shows on TV. I think that the characters should be put to rest, but not all. Make a spin off or have someone else break out of a prison or escape the company. Don't just end a good thing. Your doing what you do with every good show. Build up a large fan base then cancel it. It is BS. Do we really need another reality show, or some sitcom that has already been done 5 times before. I think the writers are way capable of doing something to spin this off to keep the fans attention.

If they are ending in the fourth season they should probably start a new fresh story after 2 or 3 months,that would be another good thing for all of us,PRISON BREAK FANS.

I think it is good the show is being cancelled. Do not get me wrong, I love it and I have seen every episode of it but I think the story has to come to an end. The characters deserve a happy (hopefully) end and it is time they are put to rest. I do not want the story to be dragged on and on and this way the show would lose its touch and it would just be too much. It was brilliant while it lasted, lets enjoy the rest of the season and remember it as good show. :)

It's been so great while it lasted! I have enjoyed watching the show from day one: great actors, incredibly creative writing with suspenseful storylines; it was my favourite show. And now that it's run its course I will certainly miss it! I hope that the final episodes will offer a lot of answers and the writers will wrap it all up nicely with a happy ending for Michael, Linc and Sara. I believe they deserve that after all the physical and emotional turmoil they have been through. And viewers deserve it too. So go for it, writers!

I can't believe you are taking away Prison Break. It is just getting into where the brother's mom is alive and hope you will at least let that storyline come to a conclusion before ending the show. First I lost Journeyman which I loved, now this show. Guess I'll have to catch up with Heroes now since I watched Prison Break instead of Heroes as they came on same times in my area. Hope you replace it with something good, not some stupid reality show as I think there are enough of those.

Hey people, i really can't believe that want to stop prision brake tv show. Every season are really amazing, suspensed and I have to watch the missing episodes, so that i get in to the point they want to reach. Is not fair to us. Please dont do that!!!!!!!!

Give the writers a chance to make one more season and wrap up everything at least. There are so many fans of the show and it still holds a large fan base. I do not like sitcoms on TV I have never missed an episode of Prison Break. This was once a show that won an award for outstanding director for best drama or comedy series along with many nominations for Wentworth Miller. Robert Knepper and Amaury Nolasco were nominated for awards too. Great cast! Great show! T-Bag is the man! Don't cancel!

Prison Break is such a great show. I will miss it. However I am glad that it's ending on a high note and not being dragged on for a few more seasons.

I really truly can't believe this. The show is just getting to a point where they could do so many things with it. Now they have options to make it better than it ever has been. This is really disappointing. Around here the show is very popular. Guess they didn't have 7 seasons of scripts written out like they said they did on disk 1 from season 1. Oh well.
