It isn’t enough that Private Practice’s Addison (Kate Walsh) can’t go a week without a guy; now, it seems, she can’t go a week without more than one. Though in tonight’s episode, she and beau Kevin attempt to resolve their relationship issues, and she takes a closer look at Wyatt, the show has just cast yet another love interest for her!
I’ve learned exclusively Swingtown’s Josh Hopkins has signed on for five episodes as the latest surgeon with whom our lead MD will play doctor.

Ugh, not another one! Good grief, Shonda, pick one! I LIKED Kevin. Wyatt’s an ass. Didn’t watch Swingtown so I don’t have an opinion on the new guy.

i really liked kevin. why cant they let addison have a good, stable relationship. there are many other characters whose romantic struggles would still keep the show interesting if thats what theyre worried about. maybe have her break up, but not so quickly and not over silly things.

He is hot. I like. Kevin was way boring and a outsider so that wasnt going to work obviously. A outsider has no chance on GA or PrP unless you are Dead Denny. Hopefully this guy will work out.
I think what we are seeing is a desperate attempt to find an actor who can generate ratings-building heat with already hot Kate Walsh. Not sure of the names of the actors who played Sam and Wyatt, but they couldn’t measure up.
Josh Hopkins couldn’t measure up to Calista Flockhart on Brothers and Sisters (an ensemble), so I am not so sure he is up to challenge of matching a bona fide leading lady!
Josh Hopkins was fabulous on Swingtown, so I’m glad to see he’s found another role. I just wish it were on a show I actually watched.

I am so glad he is coming on. He was so great on Swingtown. Addison is a great character herself but they need a real actor to get it on with Addison. She needs someone in her league. That’s why she had chemistry with every guy on Grey’s. Also I want hard Addison back too. She’s a little too soft. Couldn’t stand her calling Swat guy. What freakin swat guy wears a shirt advertising he’s swat!

ABC sure is working hard to quash the “Kate Walsh is a lesbian” rumors that have gone into overdrive since her recent divorce. Much like how the network launched into damage control when rumors surfaced about Marcia Cross.

Is Kate Walsh training to become a soft porn actress? Actually maybe it’s a good idea. With her lack of acting talent it’s the only thing she can bring to the show: the looks.
Kate, and Audra is so much better than the rest of the cast, and that is what’s bringing the show down. The fans can’t relate to the other characters. Paul is OK, but can’t carry the medical dramatic scenes they put on his plate in the last 2 episodes. Taye is capable of the best and the worst in the same episode.
Amy, and Kadee are competent, but they do the same character over and over like a one trick pony, Tim is the same but, he is not even competent.
Glad to see Josh Hopkins back on TV.. Just wish it was a better program.

Meredith once did 5 guys a week, Izzie’s sleeping with two guys at once (one who’s DEAD) and Mark’s sleeping with bareley legal Lexie and yet it pulls 15 million viewers?
Maybe the problem is shonda rhimes. Both Grey’s & Private Practice are full of sex, it looks more like a porn movie played in a hospital. Sex in the closet, sex in the trailer, sex in the E.R., sex on E.R….
You know Just SEX. I don’t know maybe Mrs. Rhimes needs a man, or she’s just having a middle age crisis. If she’s not the problem. She needs to hire new writers. Cuz both her shows are going down. PP was already awful, now it’s getting worse (is that even possible??). Grey’s is going downhill since season 3, when addison and burke left. Yeah, I feel sorry that Josh H. has to be on one of the worst shows on TV. I wish he could be on Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, or some other show I would actually watch.
If it deprived GA of other talent than Shonda, can you imagine how toxic has the set environment on GA that writers rather move on to a gamble? The way fans complain about Shonda’s writing I would think that they would be happy she is otherwise distracted…
