Just wondering, why in the frak is Lois in the trailer if she isn’t in the next 4 episodes? That’s an evil evil tease. To make us think she’s there when we know she’s not…sigh…I miss the snarky Lois comments already…(Seriously though, she’s only in 2 of the next 7 episodes!!!! What kind of cruel world is this???)

Maybe Ausiello found this trailer just now but it’s been on the CW site for over a week.
Just curious – why do the “spoiler TV” people feel a need to harsh everyone’s buzz with their petty condemnation, scolding and whorish URL pastings? We get it, Ausiello isn’t always “first” with stuff, but maybe some of don’t venture to fan sites.
My nipples got hard watching that.
I was not bashing Ausiello, I just wanted to let people know that the CW site has it. I was a little disappointed that it was not a new trailer like I’d hoped it was but mostly I just laughed.
I’ll make myself clearer, the trailer is at CW with like three others as well.

In the comics, Lana is actually part of the Legion at one point. I wonder if they will work that in.
WOW, Michael you weren’t lying, that trailer was “fraktacular” I stopped watching last year due to the lackluster season but in the last few weeks I started hearing really good things about this season from friends and the media. so I took it upon myself to give the show another shot and have been trying to get caught up on the show online. I have watched the first six episodes of the season in the past week and I am so happy I decided to start watching again… the show has it’s spark back that it had in the first 3 seasons. I have 4 episodes left to watch to get caught up before the show returns in January and I have been told the next few episodes only get better. I am happy to say that I am a smallville fan again and it feels sooo good!!

Love that trailer. I’m so excited to see the big Chloiac versus Clark smackdown. I find it consistently compelling how Chloe is thrust into the middle of such an epic battle between Doomsday and Clark, as well as between Brainiac and Clark. I just look so forward to this next spate of episodes, including the January 15th premiere of Legion!
Chloiac lifting Clark looks fake. It looks like a cardboard Clark. I hope that scene looks better in the actual ep.

Pfft Toby they had to give Chloe something to do and since shes plot device, she gets to be in the middle of it all and it won’t effect her place in the mythos, because well, she has none yet. If KK decided to stay on they probably would have had Lana in the middle of it.
One of things that makes this trailer so fraktastic is all the Clark and Lana and very little Lois!
can I tell you I wanted to come here and curse you out because I read this site daily and I don’t remember the last Smallville update and I just finished watching this season, and WOW youmade me happy.
Clark isn’t really gonna fly, creators said no to that a long time ago, he might use a flight ring.
My question: Who is Lana working for?
Was that Michael Rosenbaum? Is Lex Luthor coming back?

This show is disgusting, and no amount of stellar editting can save it. I guarantee that trailer is probably the best thing coming off the set of Smallville in the next three months.

That was cool, but “we’re from the 31st century”? That was weird. They should’ve made it, “we’re from the 22nd century”, or something like that. 31 is just too far in the future.

I’m tired of hearing this repetitive nonsense about how Chloe doesn’t matter, ad nauseum, because it isn’t true. Every character in the Superman mythos began somewhere, as did Lana Lang and Jimmy Olsen, to mention a couple. And as for Lana, she is a nasty piece of work in the comics and should never have been pimped as she has been. It[’s criminal to have had Clark chase this nasty girl, manipulator, kidnapper and torturer that she is and he absence has been a pleasure this season. She should be in prison now for her crimes, not coming back to manipulate Clark into forgiving her many crimes again.
Now if only they’d dump the awful ED and her appalling character, the show might get its mojo back but ruight now, season eight is the absolute worst ever and the writers should be fired for the crap they hand out every week.
Oh really? Explain why the only two episodes that dipped in ratings a week were the NON-LOIS episodes then? Pssh, Just because they aren’t doing some stupid Romantic-Chlark crap, doesn’t mean people don’t like the show. Hell I see more people gushing about the show than in the last few years or so, and not just Clois fans, but Clark fans and non-shippers alike.
