I can’t believe how i got addicted to this series. when it was over for season last year, i terminated my HBO and will start again June 14th.
Hope Lafayette will remain. I really liked him

Lafayette will be in flash backs but he will be dead. Lots more Eric this season and we’ll get to meet Stan, Barry and Isabell. I’m excited to see who they cast as Alcide and Quinn!!!

Bubba is in the first book. I don’t understand how people can call themselves true fans and still have no idead what they’re talking about. Alan Ball said he may not put Bubba in the series cause it could prove to be too hard to find someone who can play the part well enough

Bubba is most definetely in Book 1. He meets Rene, and Rene learns he perfers catblood. He uses this to remove Bubba from the picture and to get his chance at Sook

I dont know why people keep saying Bubba is in the first book. He is not. I’m pretty sure he came in during either the 2nd or 3rd. I just know it wasn’t the first for a fact b/c it was after Dallas when Sookie was helping Eric more so Eric hired him to watch her house. I remember she didn’t even know he was there at first. All I know is he FOR SURE was Not in the 1st book.
Obviously, I too love the books and the show. Anna Paquin plays Sookie perfectly. It’s can make you very nervous and flightly if you constantly have to listen to others deepest thoughts and pretend you don’t hear them. Bravo Anna. Bravo Alan Ball and the whole cast. I hunger for more True Blood!

Read the first seven books in three days!! No sleep….couldn’t stop and CAN NOT wait until the second season starts. Mr. Ball was correct when he said this show was like crack cocaine!! My husband is as wild about the show as I am and several other of our friends as well. Best show that’s hit television in decades!!
