• Ashlee Simpson’s baby daddy, Pete Wentz, will make a special cameo in an episode of The CW’s Privileged to air in early ‘09. The ubiquitous Fall Out Boy bassist will play himself in a scene with Max (Andrew J. West). In related news, there’s a new episode on tonight at 9 p.m./ET!
• With My Own Worst Enemy dead and nearly buried, NBC has reassigned Saffron Burrows to its promising mid-season drama Kings. The actress will play someone from King Silas’ (Ian McShane) past in an episode that flashes back to a critical moment in his and daughter Michelle’s life.
• Sara Rue and Lauren Holly have booked guest roles on TNT’s new drama Leverage, which had its premiere last night. On Jan. 20, Rue will play a naive employee of a company trying to cover up a toxic fertilizer death. Holly, meanwhile, portrays a shrewd businesswoman who sinks money into a small pharmaceutical company that she plans to buy. When that company goes to trial for an indiscretion, she tries to buy off the jurors for a favorable verdict. Her episode airs Feb. 3.
• Battlestar Galactica’s highly anticipated end game kicks off in a little over a month, so it’s time to start brushing up on three-and-a-half seasons worth of mythology. I watched last night’s premiere of Leverage and loved it .. I’ll definitely be watching Tuesday night at 10pm. I’m sure Sara Rue will be great as always. And I hope Lauren Holly is great in her episode too (I have to say .. I’ve really liked her in some of her roles, but not all of them).

Boring scoop. More interesting is the news that NBC is giving Leno a full hour during prime time 5 days a week. While I’m not a big fan, I find it sad that NBC is in the position that it needs to find something it can play at 10 PM every night.
I read that TR Knight quit Grey’s. Isn’t that hilarious? That show is just horrible. Now thats news.

Can someone explain to me how Boston Legal gets dumped and now we have Homeland Security USA. Another show designed for the brain dead, or an attention span that is less than 2 minutes. I guess actual thinking is out. It seems like that’s all we get anymore. By the way, what were the reasons BL go axed??? We all hear ratings, but did some of the cast want to move on or what??

Loved Leverage. I’m a big Christian Kane fan from ‘Angel’, I always had the hots for Lindsey. The guy can kick butt! Dug the funky music, it just seemed to fit. Looks like a keeper!
