Something tells me Chuck is going to be paying a lot more attention in English class next semester.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that Laura Breckenridge (Related) is joining the cast as Rachel Carr, the idealistic and fresh-faced new English teacher at Constance Billard.
That’s right, I said teacher. An extremely young teacher, but a teacher all the same.
At 25, Breckenridge –- who is booked for a minimum of three episodes — is only a few years older than Blake Lively and Leighton Meester. And Gossip producers are wisely acknowledging that right at the start when Miss Carr gets mistaken for a student on her first day.
No word on potential love interests, but I have some scoop on her first loathe interest: Blair. Word is the two of them don’t exactly hit it off. Shocker!

In the books, it mentions a teacher having a thing for Dan. It would be interesting to see that played out.

saw her ‘let them chirp awhile trailer’. could be pretty good if she goes after dan. with chuck… i dunno. definitely hot though when you look at her imdb.

It would be interesting to see Dan get involved with a teacher.
Since Nate’s already been cougared, and Chuck would be WAY too obvious, my guess is that it will be Dan she hooks up with… because everyone knows that if there’s a hot young teacher on a high school show, he or she is bound to get involved with a student at some point.
Miss B – my LAST guess would be Dan to hook up with a teacher! He’s too straight laced! Not to mention she’s got dark hair and dark eyes – just CHUCK’S type! I’m sure she will be mistaken as a new student, then Blair gets sassy with her and hates her even more when new teacher and Chuck hit it off.
Does this mean we might actually see the inside of a classroom on Gossip Girl. OMG.
