Truccomcdermottwalsch_lAh, it's that time of year: tofurkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and enough exclusive casting scoop to feed a family of 40. What's not to be thankful for?

* A December episode of The Big Bang Theory gives us Battlestar Galactica's Michael Trucco on a motorcycle. He'll play Leonard's partner on a project and one of the youngest MacArthur Genius Grant winners ever. My source says Penny takes a shine to him. My source also says, "Who wouldn't?"

* Lupe Ontiveros, who played Carlos' late mom on Desperate Housewives, will bring some Latina flavor to Reaper in the form of Ben's tiny, sassy grandma when the show begins its midseason run in January. Plus, Michael McDonald will appear as the boys' curmudgeonly high school biology teacher, Mr. Sprong.

* Supernatural wins this year's Best Episode Title with the upcoming 'Criss Angel Is A Douche Bag.' Even better, the magician-centered ep, which airs Jan. 22, features "Hey, It's That Guy!" trio Barry Bostwick (Ugly Betty, Spin City), John Rubinstein (Angel, 24), and Richard Libertini (every show ever made, but most recently, Monk and Numbers).

* Friday I brought you news of Jennifer Westfeldt's stint on Grey's Anatomy as a patient. Now I can tell you the show is looking to cast another sicko in a four-ep arc that might just be related to next year's big Grey's/Private Practice crossover. So, call your agents, struggling Caucasian male actors in your mid-30s.

* Tori Spelling's real-life squeeze and reality show costar, Dean McDermott, is getting his own Hallmark Channel movie! Always & Forever, which will also include a Bauer and an older, though still dreamy, Jeannie (Rena Sofer and Barbara Eden), hits the small screen next September. Some people are getting themselves way too caught up in the title. Get a grip. It is only a title. I think it is funny. Some poeple take things way too seriously and it is people like them that miss things beacuse of their ignorance.

Shasta Tue, Dec 2, 2008 at 11:49 AM EST

Cool! I thought Reaper had been canceled. It probably still will be, but I'm looking forward to the new season!

VitaminK10 Sun, Nov 30, 2008 at 12:54 PM EST

I've been missing Reaper like a fiending drug addict...It's incredibly viral and bret harrison is a total down to earth hottie..

CJ Sat, Nov 29, 2008 at 10:11 PM EST

I can't believe how some people are taking the Supernatural title way too seriously. Sure, I'm not a fan of C.A. at all, but you have to appreciate the HUMOR in it. Cause, that's really all it is. Get over it. I'm glad to finally see the show getting some respect, and to be hearing less about the mediocre shows such as Grey's and Lost. More Supernatural, please! ;]

louise Fri, Nov 28, 2008 at 10:58 AM EST

the title of supernatural is so funny, it's joke between criss angel and crew os sp. love sp best show on telly!

dolly Thu, Nov 27, 2008 at 11:37 AM EST

LOVE Supernatural...love ma boys and love the title.

mouse Thu, Nov 27, 2008 at 06:29 AM EST

the new supernatural ep is not a comedy episode. if anything its a personal one but not a myth ep either

Tammy Wed, Nov 26, 2008 at 06:24 PM EST

Supernatural is beginning to tread on thin ice -- I still love the show, but the writers are taking a lot of risks, which, in my opinion, are unnecessary. Sure the title is funny, but is it really in the best of taste? Am I the only one who thinks they're trying to get away with a little too much lately? First being borderline blasphemous by portraying angels and God as hateful, murderous, vengeful beings and now this?

Lyndsay Wed, Nov 26, 2008 at 01:42 PM EST

If that's really going to be the title of an episode, I'm not impressed. It's really sort of mean, and shows whoever came up with it is just a jerk.
I've never missed an episode, but right now I am tempted to skip that one.
And it's not because I watch Criss Angel Midfreak, it would feel the same way if it was anybody.
I have to say. I'm a little disapointed with the people at Supernatural right now.

Barry Wed, Nov 26, 2008 at 12:29 PM EST

SN has been the best this year. It perfectly blends the serious with humor, and it does both brilliantly. The comedic ones are just as great, and probably even more memorable than the more serious ones, but I love both. Keep them coming. That title is just perfection.

Candy Wed, Nov 26, 2008 at 12:43 AM EST

I love the name for the new supernatural eps.I can't wait to see it,Supernatural is the best show this year

Wed, Nov 26, 2008 at 12:23 AM EST

I agree with tinyredcar. Enough comedic eps. In my opinion, the title is stupid, and I get a lot more out of dramatic episodes.

Brie Wed, Nov 26, 2008 at 12:08 AM EST

I died of laughter when I saw the title for that Supernatural episode. I am so glad they got to keep the title XD

rachelelisabeth Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 05:20 PM EST

(ignore me this is a test)

Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 02:00 PM EST

VOMIT!!!! I HATE ADDISON!!!!!!!! UGH!

lupa Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 12:23 PM EST

Trucco, FTW!!!

Tenna Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 10:46 AM EST

Yay for Reaper! I can't wait till they start airing the episodes for the upcoming season! I miss that show.

Tinyredcar Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 09:54 AM EST

Ok, Supernatural does have the best episode titles (and the best episodes!). Seriously though, I may be way off here (but I suspect I'm not - Barry Bostwick?) - another comedic episode? So soon after Monster Movie, Yellow Fever and Wishful Thinking? Hmm. I know you guys love to bring the funny, but this is getting ridiculous.

Kate Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 08:55 AM EST

The Supernatural titles are truly great this season as is the storyline. Best show this year!

Julie Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 08:24 AM EST

I LOVE that episode title!!! Ahhh! The Supernatural crew always crack me up! This hiatus is going to kill me, but great scoops like this one always make my day! Can't wait to see those actors in action!

deli Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 03:38 AM EST

i agree with brenda,They spend more time on the patients this year than the doctors, but still i love it.xoxo

Johnson Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 02:47 AM EST

Grey's Anatomy has gone down the drain. Brooke Smith: you were lucky to get out of there while you could! I believe you and hubby Steve can do many movies and documentaries together. How about one about Lucy and Ethiopia?

cmg Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 02:24 AM EST

Re: Grey's, I agree with Dort. Bring back Brooke Smith! Although ... much as I'd love to see her back methinks she deserves better. I'd love to see ABC come crawling back only to have her drop a "thanks, but no thanks" on em. Brooke, u rule.

Heather Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 02:01 AM EST

Supernatural does win major points. That is one of the greatest (and truest) episode titles ever.

BarbaraEdenFan Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 01:50 AM EST

How much can we trust that source? It would be amazing if Ms. Barbara Eden would return back to the TV screen but EW is the only website who's reporting about this movie project.

Brenda Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 11:32 PM EST

I hope a crossover means they take people from Grey's to Private Practice. The hospital has enough patients. They spend more time on the patients this year than the doctors.

mk Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 09:59 PM EST

Reaper is a great show! Glad it will be back.

Meredith Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 09:34 PM EST

Amen to watching Big Bang Theory for Michael Trucco. Never really thought about watching it before, but, as evidenced by the fact that I have been staring at his picture here for a full 5 minutes, I would watch that man doing anything. Or nothing.

jd Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 09:28 PM EST

REAPER IS COMING BACK-SWEEEET!

MJ Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 08:19 PM EST

GREY'S/PRIVATE PRACTICE CROSSOVER?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THAT SOONER?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

vi Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 07:38 PM EST

I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE GREY'S/PRIVATE PRACTICE CROSSOVER!!!! I LOVE BOTH OF THOSE SHOWS!!!

CandyMaize Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 07:35 PM EST

Thanks for more about Supernatural .. I love that episode title!!! And I cannot wait to see those 3 actors at work.

rosewood Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 07:19 PM EST

Thanks Aussiello! Yes another in the line of great episode titles in this season of Supernatural (with #2 going to "Are You There God? It's Me Dean Winchester", and #3 going to "It's the Great Pumpkin Sam Winchester").

M Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 06:58 PM EST

Is that a TVTrope I spy?

Kalie Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 06:32 PM EST

Is that seriously the title of the episode?? I love it!

Dort Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 05:42 PM EST

Grey's casting actors? *snort*
They should have cared way better for the great actress they already had... bring back Brooke Smith and quit screwing the storylines!

Deanne Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 04:50 PM EST

MORE casting for Greys? Do they know the meaning of the word OVERCROWDED? Hope you start announcing uncastings.

Krystal Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 04:37 PM EST

I agree! Award for Episode Title Win for Supernatural!

Angi Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 04:13 PM EST

I love Supernatural scoop, but I really want to know how long Castiel is going to be around. Can it bee for the rest of the run of the show?

PJ Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 04:06 PM EST

Thank you for the Reaper news! I can't wait for that show to return. Is that the same actress that played Ben's grandma in season one?

Mandi Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 03:47 PM EST

Michael Trucco is one of the best looking men on television, bar none! I love him on BSG. He may just get me to watch Big Bang Theory for once...

Mary Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 03:44 PM EST

Holy crap, that Supernatural episode is going to be AWESOME! That's a great cast list, you know, considering it's Supernatural (I usually don't recognize more than one name per episode), and anything that reminds me of South Park is a natural win.
