Breaking: The CW Planning 'Melrose Place' Reboot

Oct 28, 2008, 06:29 PM | by Michael Ausiello

Categories: Melrose Place

151419__melrose_l Andrew Shue, call your agent.

A spokesperson for The CW confirms what has been buzzed about for months: The network is developing an update of Melrose Place. Details remain sketchy, but it's believed Melrose 2.0 would launch next fall.

The move comes as The CW has enjoyed some measure of success with its 90210 reboot. Despite modest ratings, the show has brought attention to the struggling network at a time when it sorely needs it. The suits no doubt figure a Melrose rebirth will generate another round of mass hysteria. (And they'd be right!)

Earlier this month, Darren Star, who created both Melrose and 90210, admitted to TVGuide.com that a Melrose resurrection "would be a fun thing to do. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened -- if it can be put together in the right way."

What do you think? Good idea? Bad idea? Horrendous idea? Sound off below! In the meantime, keep checking back for more details.

They're bringing Sydney back, but she died! She was run over right before she was about to marry the love of her life - Craig. How are they going to explain that away? I say they bring Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner back... Amanda and Peter returning from the deserted island they fled to... with kids in tow.

stacy Tue, Apr 14, 2009 at 09:23 AM EST

i love the idea of a remake...i watch the original 90210 and Melrose every single day..cant live with out it..i like to new 90210 as well...i was wondering when Melrose was coming..THANKS

MH Tue, Apr 7, 2009 at 11:50 PM EST

Basically speaking, the CW is remaking EVERY show that's no longer on FOX. So, it won't be long before we hear of or read about the following on Entertainment Weekly:

- CW remakes "Party Of Five" for Fall 2010
- CW remakes "The Heights" for Fall 2011
- CW remakes "Married With Children" for Fall 2012
- CW remakes "The Simpsons" for...well, after "The Simpsons" ends on FOX, if and when it ends.

You get the idea...

kel Fri, Apr 3, 2009 at 12:51 PM EST

I want ROB ESTES back!!

Charlie Tue, Feb 17, 2009 at 12:28 AM EST

They have too... They brought back 90210 and look how well it's doing... what more fun...they have to bring back Melrose Place... as currently updated as 90210... I know I'll watch it as well as most my friends... They have nothing to loose...

Joshua Ooten Tue, Jan 20, 2009 at 10:00 AM EST

Are you kidding, the show was awful the first time. A remake would be like getting punched in the stomach then asking a bigger guy to go ahead and KICK you in the stomach, because the first wasn't painful enough.

Erin Mon, Jan 19, 2009 at 03:14 PM EST

AWESOME!!!! bring kimberly and amanda back!!!!!!!!!!

clur Fri, Jan 9, 2009 at 05:59 PM EST

i would LOVE to see melrose place come back! I <3 the old one and id probably <3 the new one too.

TinyC Fri, Dec 19, 2008 at 05:38 AM EST

Please bring back Jo & Jake (Daphne Zuniga & Grant Show)!!! They were sooooooo great!!!!

Cristina Tue, Dec 16, 2008 at 08:13 PM EST

The storyline on Melrose Place was typical but watchers still enjoyed the show and its run

Ines Mon, Nov 17, 2008 at 12:10 AM EST

90210 get boring after Shannen left, and was straggling through all 6 seasons. So i think wold be great idea to put Shannen on MP.Tiffany to.That pale ho**Jennie Garth don't wont to see in it.She is pathetic.bring all old cast, espacily Tomas Calabro. And Sydney she was good,Rob Estes hi so hot,i love him,i watch 90210 just because of him and Shannen.

Rob Mon, Nov 3, 2008 at 08:21 PM EST

Please Please Please!
I would love a new Melrose!

I would also love Seasons 5, 6 & 7 of the original released on DVD! :P

Kristen Sun, Nov 2, 2008 at 03:19 PM EST

I CAN'T WAIT! When I heard this news, I cried. I don't care what you people think, I freakin' loved this show. STILL DO! I am by far MP's biggest fan ever. QUIZ ME! When I was younger I wished I could be on MP and now they actually are going to bring it back? I'm SOOOOOO excited! HEY! CALL ME IF YOU NEED A NEW KIMBERLEY! he he I can't wait....can't freakin' wait!

PGP Fri, Oct 31, 2008 at 10:59 AM EST

I said it before that I would have been more interested in a Melrose Place revival than I would a 90210 revival, although now that I have seen Kelly back in action I actually realize that maybe it wasn't a bad ide after all. Personally, I would love to see Heather back, but is that possible? However, how about bringing back Tiffani Theissen on to the new 90210 as Valarie Malone and spinning her off into the new Melrose Place? That might be enjoyable to watch! Just a thought!

hmm Thu, Oct 30, 2008 at 02:18 PM EST

They need to get a show that stars Lauren Graham in it. She would save any show

Starcasm Thu, Oct 30, 2008 at 01:13 PM EST

Bring Amanda back!

http://starcasm.net/archives/1046

Jacqui Thu, Oct 30, 2008 at 01:00 PM EST

I agree with one comment that said let classics remain classics. As we have some times seen in remake of movies, they crash! Now what the CW could do is revamp their Sunday nights and bring back "Girlfriends."

Colin Thu, Oct 30, 2008 at 06:55 AM EST

If they bring it back, hopefully Alyssa Milano comes back with it too! Bring back CHARMED too!!

aa Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 07:48 PM EST

no sydney? no dr. shaw? don't think so although heather locklear has gotten me to watch all kinds of crap in the past.

Yoja Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 05:52 PM EST

I think it's a horrendous idea, but if they do resurrect it, I will be forced to hunt down my old college roommates so we can bring back our 'beer, pizza and Melrose' night. (All I can smell right now is all the fabulous pizza from Giorgio's in East Lansing, MI. I wonder if it's still there? I think I've just inspired myself to take a road trip this weekend!)

Max Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 03:09 PM EST

characters can be 'brought back from the dead' with good writers... Ha. That's all part of being a campy soap.

shannon Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 02:51 PM EST

Instead of tweaking perfectly good new shows that are never really given the chance to develop, they want to take something that was good turned bad (or it would still be on the air, right?) and try to revamp it?!? Good Grief.

Stank Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 02:42 PM EST

Sydney Andrews was a great character, but she was hit by a car and died at the end of the fifth season. Dr. Kimberly Shaw, also a great character, also died in the fifth season, from a brain aneurysm. So there is little chance or reason for either to be brought back. The fact is the show was starting to fade away after just three seasons and was almost completely forgotten when it ended four years later. I think most people are confusing their fond memories for the show's first 3 seasons with the reality that it burned out rather quickly. The CW will probably throw a bunch of hot new actors into the apartment building and figure out some convoluted way to fit an Original Cast Member Cameo into the pilot. And as far as I can remember, I think Amanda had sold the building so it's not like she would even have a reason to still be trolling around that dump. But it could still be entertaining.

Max Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 01:45 PM EST

I think it's an excellent Idea, as long as the story lines are as good as MP was in it's heyday. Mp was the best, most addicting, guilty pleasure, show of the 90's.

A definite must...would be to bring Sydney Andrews (Laura Leighton) back to the show. She was the best character on Melrose Place.

Keritzle Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 01:19 PM EST

Everyone wants something "original". Originality is scarce to come by these days. Its not just TV... its movies, books and everything. Not much original thought left...

Mikey M Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 01:07 PM EST

I haven't heard news this bad since they said they were remaking....90210.
What's next, Models, Inc remake? Central Park West remake?
Horrible.

judith Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 12:51 PM EST

OMG I am SOOOOO excited! Can't wait! They need to get more orginal characters than 90210 though.

Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 12:22 PM EST

They should remake 2000 Malibu Road.

Deborah Moyer Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 12:19 PM EST

Melrose Place the geriatric years. Heather Locklear was one of the older cast members in the 90's but she has aged well. Bring it back with Heather as Amanda and some young things.

t3hdow Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 11:43 AM EST

You got to be kidding me. Wasn't 90210 enough to show this is a bad move? At this rate, I expect the 24 series to be remade in 2015.
How's this for an idea networks? You can air cheaply produced game shows and reality TV if you promise to use the ratings to fund the series that need time to be nurtured into a ratings smash. Deal?
Seriously though...these TV series reboots are getting out of hand. Sure, Battlestar Galactica worked, but for every one of those, we get a Knight Rider or the '90s era Outer Limits/Twilight Zone.

Hannah Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 11:23 AM EST

Yes, it's true original shows are more expensive. But if the networks don't quit going bargain basement for their programming, they're going to find themselves extinct.

Meleegi Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 11:14 AM EST

Maybe the CW wouldn't be struggling so much if they didn't get rid of all the good shows (minus OTH) and add a bunch of trash.

Lia Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 11:12 AM EST

I think it can be dangerous to rely so heavily on remakes. They got lucky with 90210 but Melrose Place? It won't score them the 12-28 demographic they scored with Gossip Girl or 90210.

Mark Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 11:01 AM EST

I second the transplanting Brenda Walsh as the new MP landlord idea. That way the new MP can be a true spin off of 90210. And I also second the reboot of 21 Jump Street starring Kristen Bell. Make it happen CW.

Marina Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 10:50 AM EST

While we're remaking shows from the 90s, let's bring back Hotel Malibu (remember J.Lo's first TV role?), Knott's Landing, or Homefront (Kyle Chandler's first TV role)!

Taryn Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 10:48 AM EST

I want networks to come out with something new and original. Classics are classics for a reason, why copy off of someone else's good idea, create your own.

Lisa Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 10:39 AM EST

Leave it to the CW to capitalize on an old favorite instead of creating something new themselves. Maybe they should just get all the shows that were on in the 80's and redo them. It will be like a time machine! UGH!

Jackie Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 10:05 AM EST

Well they completely messed up 90210 so why not butcher Melrose Place as well?
Go for it CW!

Hannah Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 09:54 AM EST

To everyone asking where the fresh, new, original ideas are: "Original" programming is expensive. A very small percentage of pilot shows get full-season orders, and networks take a hit in advertising funds every time a show underperforms. Add to that the megalomaniacal salary demands of big-name actors, and it's a recipe for status quo. As long as we continue to watch, they'll keep making this re-purposed crap.

CJ Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 09:47 AM EST

ugh

jen Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 09:40 AM EST

Bring back Everwood and Jack&Bobby!

Elena Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 09:38 AM EST

I'm not sure why everyone thinks that a reboot means it has to be exactly the same with the exact same characters. Batman got a reboot and nobody was demanding that Michael Keaton had to be in it. Just forget that they're calling it Melrose Place and watch catty and shallow 20-40somethings in LA. It'll be like The Hills but with actual dialogue.

Audra Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 09:11 AM EST

FYI: For anyone that misses Melrose, tune into Desperate Housewives, where several of the cast are old MP players... and forget about the CW. They need fresh new writers and ideas!

Audra Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 09:09 AM EST

Does no one have any original ideas anymore? Original and interesting shows like Everwood and Reaper get pushed to the way-side, while they keep trying to resurect decomposing skeletons!! GET SOME NEW MATERIAL CW!

M Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 09:05 AM EST

Make it stop!

Linda Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 09:03 AM EST

Ok I have to say this. To those of you bitching and whining about Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls, STFU and get over it! Those shows have been gone for almost two years, LET IT GO!

As for the MP remake, this i'll only work with Daren Star as EP and Thomas Calabro back as Michael.

RLS Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:55 AM EST

It could work if they go all-out with the soapiness. 25-35 year olds need a good soap too, one in which all the sex, deceit, and backstabbing are age-appropriate. I would like to also see a little diversity in the cast, but knowing the CW, I wouldn't bet on it.

Sigh Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:43 AM EST

What happened to original shows? Smallville is great, I dont watch Supernatural, but its a good idea for a show. I just dont like all of these resurrections. Leave well enough alone.

Kurt Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:39 AM EST

Are there no original ideas left? The networks need to start putting some effort into development. Their cost cutting and unoriginal ideas are why people are leaving network television in droves.

And Doug Savant would also be unavailable, I'm guessing, unless there's some big Desperate Housewives twist coming up.

Kelly Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:38 AM EST

OMG...bring it on. I miss MP but hope they can do it right. They need crazy Michael and Kimberly (but she is on Desperate Housewives now so that won't work). They also definitly need Rob Estes (he should leave 90210 for this) & Heather Locklear. I loved my college days where we would skip class and have MP nights. I just hope it is done well even if for just one season to catch up on their lives. I would watch!!

Beth Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:34 AM EST

NO,NO,NO, BAD! Have you watched the new 90210? And which cast member would come back to re launch the new show? Bad idea!

Nic Z Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:29 AM EST

I think it might take away attention from the 90210 hype, which it needs its hype to keep its ratingas. and do any TV show remakes ever become classics, in 20 years when people talk 90210 will the be talking Dixon and Annie, or Brendan and Brnadom probably the 2nd.

Matthew Graybosch Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:23 AM EST

*shrug* I think it's another sign that the CW has run out of ideas, but it doesn't really matter to me since I stopped watching TV before the original Melrose Place finished its run.

Michelle Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:16 AM EST

I loved Melrose in its heyday, but please CW leave it alone! Any reboot would pale in comparison to the original. Have an ORIGINAL THOUGHT for heaven's sake!

DLM Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:06 AM EST

Pointless idea, mostly. Whether the reboot is good or bad, the CW can't survive just by Xeroxing FOX's early '90s lineup.

MJ Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:01 AM EST

Oh please ! First 90210 now this ! Can any one in Hollywood come up with an original idea any more ?

joze Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:00 AM EST

windows vista works fine!!!!and leave MP alone PLEASE!

joze Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:00 AM EST

windows vista works fine!!!!and leave MP alone PLEASE!

SAB Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:00 AM EST

Count me in to watch!

joze Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 08:00 AM EST

windows vista works fine!!!!and leave MP alone PLEASE!

Nathan Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 07:58 AM EST

Seriously? Honestly? I know this type of stuff is endemic to crap networks like CW, but this is just beyond nuts. Here's a question: Why not come up with ORIGINAL ideas instead of rehashing stuff that's barely 10 years gone? And media companies wonder why ratings and ad revenue continue to slide.

Gilmore Fan Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 07:56 AM EST

I agree with Tracy... Bring back Gilmore Girls. MP need to be left alone. I would love to see and older and new look on GG....

joze Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 07:53 AM EST

windows vista works fine!!!!and leave MP alone PLEASE!

jacki Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 07:45 AM EST

Why can't we leave good things alone. Melrose and 90210 were things of the past. Come up with new show ideas, and stop trying to recreate ideas that have already been seen and have gone off the air.

Tracy Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 07:44 AM EST

If we are bringing back shows...I vote for Gilmore Girls!!! There was still so much that could have been done!

Alex Winter Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 07:23 AM EST

This idea sounds worse than Window's Vista.

Mr.Coleman Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 07:20 AM EST

You know, it just may work. Maybe just spinoff from the last season and see. I'm sure it had millions of fans, far greater than the unappreciative non-actors complaining below! Bring it on I'm still a fan

Jenna Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 07:18 AM EST

Great Idea, I know it would work and I look forward to finishing up where we left off. Thanks!

Lindy Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 06:34 AM EST

I thought they had already remade MP/90210/DC when they started with One Tree Hill? So now we are going to officially remake MP and slap the recycled label on it?

If the CW got a clue that the teen soaps can only be handled in moderate amounts and found some good concepts they might stand a chance. Instead they just reuse and recycle plots that they dug up from the vaults and slap new "pretty" faces on it. They haven't learned yet that pretty faces won't guarantee success? I figured their budget would have pointed that out oh sometime after their first year.

Find something new, innovative and that won't smell like yesterday's beer.

George Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 06:10 AM EST

Bad idea. The 90210 remake works because you can integrate people from then old cast with the new characters...and the 'older' characters should be in their mid-30s (never mind the ages of the actors who play them), so it's not too bad. But if they redid Melrose, you'd have new characters in their 20s, and the older characters in their...mid 40s? The dynamic won't work. Please, CW, try making new shows instead of remaking old ones (90210) or recyling old shows (Gossip Girl; it's the OC, but in NYC!).

B- Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 05:45 AM EST

Get Shannen D. to be the new Amanda.

The CW should also reboot 21 Jump Street starring Kristen Bell.

D Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 03:20 AM EST

If the original cast in on it it might be ok for comical purposes. The idea of a bunch of 40 and 50+ years old's still living in an apt. complex could be a sitcom. But I doubt that very much. Why not also remake the horrible show Models Inc. as well to see how much plastic surgery all the girls have had over the last 15 years. Ugg, but then we'd have to look at Linda Grey. That's too scary to think about.

norsegal Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 12:43 AM EST

sydney RAWKED. I loved that crazy lady.

FoSho Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 12:28 AM EST

remake Models Inc.

Squeegee Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 11:19 PM EST

Everything old is new again, I suppose. But c'mon. Heather Locklear won't be back. She left her "Amanda Woodward" heydey in the dust, folks. They'd have to coat the camera lens with vaseline and film that chick from 20 feet away, minimum. Have you seen her lately? She looks EMBALMED.

Zach Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 10:20 PM EST

Heather Locklear could use the work to focus on.

wizkid Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 10:18 PM EST

I think that it's pathetic that the CW can't come up with anything on their own! I mean two of it's best shows (Smallville and One Tree Hill) that have been on it the longest are freakin from the WB originally!

Becca R Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 10:16 PM EST

I can't believe they even remade Beverly Hills 90210. That is my all time favorite movie.. but the remake.. TERRIBLE...

shoulda just left it alone.

rachel elisabeth Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 10:16 PM EST

seems to me they should see how in a more long term way 90210 is going to play for them.

And will they ever acknowledge that Supernatural is true heavy hitter! I mean look at that shows competition. And it's consistently one of their highest rated.

Thomas Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 10:09 PM EST

Seriously, they need to stop it! Why can't they come up with something original! Give us fresh ideas!

joe Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 10:08 PM EST

If they are going to bring MP back then they first need to find a way to bring the fans back too. First and foremost, bring back Sydney! Everyone said MP was Heather Locklear's show but in reality it died when Kimberly (Marcia Cross) and Sydney (Laura Leighton) died! Second, we need to know Billy and Allison were married! 5 seasons of Billy and Allison and the writers want us to believe Billy fell in love with Jennifer Mancini? REALLY? I'm not asking for the characters to return full-time but these issues need to be resolved.

The producers need to stay true to te format that made MP a success...outrageous storylines! MP failed once the characters grew up and started acting like adults. We also need the classic cliffhangers that ended almost every episode. Television has forgotten about how effective cliffhangers are.

I believe a reimaging of Models Inc would be more effective with the popularity of America's Next Top Model and Project Runway, though

Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 10:03 PM EST

This is a terrible idea. Maybe Jennie Garth will go over to Melrose Place and hook up with Grant Show again.

JJ Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 09:26 PM EST

personally i think this is great news -- the CW's just clearing the way for "dawson's creek 2.0" in 2010!

Bob Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 09:13 PM EST

AWFUL idea.

Lizzie Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 09:08 PM EST

And also how is this supposed to work? Melrose is a spin-off of 90210, and Rob Estes is now playing a completely different character on 90210 which therefore means his other character doesn't exist anymore and this completely messes everything up. It will never work.

Lizzie Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 09:05 PM EST

If they really want to hit it big they would remake Popular but with all of the old actors and pick it up where season 2 left off.

Will Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 08:58 PM EST

You canceled Veronica Mars. For something like this. Sigh.

Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 08:56 PM EST

They should remake The Heights.

Justsaynotobadtv Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 08:53 PM EST

cw = fox 2.0?

Seriously this is friggin retarded and i mean like wearing a helmet and drinkin through a straw retarded...

What ever happened to original programming? Ah well at least its not some shitty reality show though at this point i dunno which is worse.

Steven Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 08:47 PM EST

The sound you just heard was me blowing my brains out.

Seriously? Dawn cancelled Veronica Mars for this crap?!?

GINGER K RAPIEN Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 08:18 PM EST

please do not bring back Melrose- the new 90210 is god awful- and I was a big fan back in the day. Get a clue CW the 90's ARE OVER............
and could someone explain to me how come Kelly has a kid on the new 90210 when on the old one she couldnt have children - I think that was the cause of one of her and brandons many breakups.
that kind of ruined the new show for me altogether- do they think the viewers dont have memories or something????

Sam Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 08:15 PM EST

Two words: Heather Locklear.
Another two words: GET HER!

Valerie Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 07:59 PM EST

Another stupid move from Dawn the unoriginal programming pro Ostroff. As if the numbers from 90210, the carbon copy of Gossip Girl passed off as a remake are high enough to merit another remake of a show that's been off the air for less than 10 years. Why does CBS continue to let her make the decisions? It's like they want to see the CW sink.

Don Jariyasunant Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 07:57 PM EST

Well, you all can complain all you want, but it's going to be made. So, if you think it's going to suck, then ignore this next fall. Although I know alot of you are going to watch this out of curiosity.

I think if The CW wants this version to have any credibility they need to hire Darren Star to write and produce the pilot. He created the show and knows these characters inside out. You need to hire a new of the originals as regulars, not pull the same thing with 90210 and having Jennie and Shannen only do sporatic guest apperances.

matthew c Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 07:55 PM EST

all i can hope for is that this leads to say it with me... "Models Inc 2.0".

Kaiulani Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 07:54 PM EST

No! I'm sure there are plenty of talented writers around Hollywood that can come up with a better idea than a rehash of a 90's tv show that outlived its welcome afer a couple of seasons.

Nicole Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 07:47 PM EST

i am just wondering who are these people who would cancel shows like Everwood and Veronica Mars and then make bad remakes of 90210 and Melrose Place. Of course, I am only assuming Melrose 2.0 would be bad because I have seen the new 90210.

Don Jariyasunant Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 07:47 PM EST

Let's see who should be available:

Thomas Calabro
Andrew Shue
Jack Wagner
Heather Locklear (probably can't afford her)
Josie Bissett
Grant Show
Daphne Zuniga (although she has a recurring role as Brooke's Mom on OTH)
Lisa Rinna

Not Available:
Courtney Thorne Smith (still working on According to Jim)
Rob Estes (90210)

tracey Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 07:39 PM EST

Say it isn't so! I am in the middle of watching season 3 on DVD and remembering why me and friends all hunkered down on Wednesday with a case of beer to watch. Ah, the early 90s were a magical time! I echo the others re: Can't we come up with something original?

Corran Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 07:25 PM EST

YAY!!! My advice: BRING BACK SYDNEY FROM THE DEAD! I can accept Marcia Cross's death but PLEASE BRING BACK SYDNEY! She was the single best character on the show!!! Hey if they brought back Marcia Cross from the dead, why cant they bring back Sydney?!?! Laura Leighton w00t!
