Brace yourselves, Huddy fans.
Not only did Lisa Edelstein confirm my recent scoop about House and Cuddy’s inaugural smooch in this season’s sixth episode of House at last night’s EW pre-Emmy party (FYI: I misspoke in the below video and said it was episode 7, but, in my defense, I had just downed my third glass of chardonnay), but she also spilled some exclusive details about what happens next (hint: there’s no canoodling!).

Thank god, sounds like the “kiss” is a one-time thing, good! Hugh outed himself as Wilson/Cuddy-fan in the interview with E’s Kristen and I totally agree with him. House and Cuddy as a couple would ruin the show.
And I agree with Lisa, Hugh deserves the Emmy more than anyone, I hope he’ll win this year *keeping my fingers crossed for him*

Oh, and Hugh never said he wanted Wilson and Cuddy together; he just complimented Lisa and Robert on their acting abilities. House and Cuddy is happening; it is time to come to terms with it.

Finally! They are the perfect pair on House. I could never take Cameron and House seriously, but these two were made for each other. And what’s wrong with “mushy” between House and Cuddy, Lisa? It’s not like they met yesterday and fell into bed; the characters have known each other for years.

great interview! I’m not particularly a Huddy fan, but I’m actually looking forward to this ‘kiss’ and whatever else the writers have planned for this season of House. And it’s looking pretty exciting so far. Your Lisa E. interview is just fantastic! I am loving her.
Love what she said about Hugh too. It’s like a crime to deny him an Emmy for 3 years. He’s completely brilliant and deserves to be recognized for his talent.
@House Fan: Never said I am totally against Huddy, did I? Grow up and get a life, when you have a problem with other people’s opinions, that’s how it is in real life. Hugh mentioned more than once in interviews that he enjoys the chemistry between RSL and LE, so it’s just a logical consequence. And I think he’s right. To be honest I’m just not seeing House and Cuddy in THAT way. It’s what YOU’d like to see. I do enjoy their boss-employee-relationship and their friendship very much, anyhting else would ruin that. Well, my opinion, take it or leave it, I don’t care anyway. I love House because of Hugh and that’s not going to change anyway.
I’m just sad that Hugh didn’t win the Emmy he would have deserved it so much! Hope he gets well soon!

Sorry, Sandra, if it sounded like I was attacking you; I was just get really annoyed when people take quotes from interviews and twist them to fit a certain point of view. I’ve seen all the same interviews you have and I guarantee you that Hugh was just complimenting his co-stars; he probably couldn’t care less about a Wilson and Cuddy romance, or any other show romance, for that matter. And I agree with you that people should be entitled to their opinions, but that means everyone, not just you. Saying “Grow up and get a life” is immature and does not reflect the point you were trying to get across at all. Also, I’m not even the one who mentioned your name in my post, so I’m not sure why you felt the need to come after me. We can all get along here without insulting each other, and that includes me, so I regret the tone of that one line in my original post.

ok, if House and Cuddy get together it would be awsome! Plus they did acually have a one night stand before the show started, back when House still had an unhurt leg, and even before he meet Stacey, so thats like more then 12 years! They should get together
House is a great show and Hugh Laurie is the best!! I love that he is open and says whatever he wants!! We need shows like that. Not shows that say everything is perfect, CAUSE THAT ISN’T HOW LIFE IS!!
