Before you accuse me of shamelessly baiting you with another outrageously misleading headline, I just have one thing to say: Guilty!
Come to think of it, I’m only half guilty. The fact is, Bruce and Demi’s actress-offspring will be playing a character by the name of Mac Taylor in CSI: NY’s 100th episode, but Gary Sinise’s tormented detective isn’t undergoing a radical sex change. Rather, the landmark episode, airing Nov. 19, finds Sinise’s team investigating a serial killer who’s targeting people with the name Mac Taylor; Willis will be playing one of those unlucky Macs.
The 100th eppy will also mark the arrival of a new detective, played by Julia Ormond (Legends of the Fall, Sabrina), and the return of Nelly as a confidential informant to Mac and Co.
Of course, if I know you CSI: NY fans, you’re probably just reading this item in the hopes that I’ll offer up some scoop concerning your favorite partners in crime and sex, Danny and Lindsay. And lo and behold, I’ve got a little something for you: Sources confirm to me exclusively that the 100th episode does not include any major D-L developments.
On the bright side, no major developments is better than one really bad one, right?

I appreciate you keeping CSI:NY on your scoop watch. I’m looking forward to the 100th episode; crossing my finger it’s a really good one. Even if D/L have no major part in it.
I want the to bring back Jordan Gates(Jessalyn Gilsig) as a love interst for Mac. Or anything. Just being her back!

The best news would be that there is NO D-L developments at all, all season.

Quite intrigued by Julia Ormond joining the cast she is a good actress I will be interested to see what she is doing in the show.

I’m sorry but this show is lame. It’s the shark jumper of all the CSIs. The acting is good but the plots are sooo ridiculous.
this show is unwatchable. the writing is so bad, I laughed my a@@ off when i saw it.
Well I do wish that something good happens with Danny/Lindsay this year, and by good I mean them together, with rainbows and puppies. Please no more Danny-angst. Give another character a turn.
This season I’m hoping for some major Danny/Lindsay making up. I’m guess they will be working towards a reunion all season. Sigh, such is life for coupledom in crime dramas.
I’d have to agree that the writing is pretty bad and by far the worst of all the CSIs. I was a huuuge Gary Sinise fan but sitting through an hour of this show is pure torture!
Julia Ormond is a lovely woman, but I hope her arrival on CSI:NY isn’t a sign that Emmanuelle Vaugier (another foxy lady) is on the way out. I love her sassy Detective Angell, and I hope we’ll see a lot more of her on NY.
(Also – Julia is British, and we know Mac has a thing for British women…)
Jessalyn Gilsig was the best thing that has happened to CSI NY.
I like Julia Ormond she is a good actress. But a new detective…I imagine it will be for a set story arc and not a permanent thing. Re the no D/L who cares, better scripts for the two characters would be a better use of there time rather than romance.
As for Miss Willis I haven’t seen her in anything so I don’t know what her acting is like, as for her looks, she is probably better looking than the people bitching about her, and more gracious.
Thankfully no mention of that awful Jordan character if Ormond’s character is replacing her I will be very happy at least its a step up in the acting.
Rumer Willis isn’t ugly. That said, I have zero interest in her and neither, I suspect, does anyone else not named Demi, Ashton or Bruce. Why is the entertainment media suddenly treating her like a celebrity?

I agree with you 100%…and not just when it come to Rumor, but many…gossip bloggers and mag rags making these kids “Stars” which makes TV shows think we want these people guest starring on good shows!!! HINT -WE DON’T!!!
