Exclusive: 'Everwood' Reunion on The CW!

If Sarah Drew's split-second cameo on last week's Mad Men left you wanting more, you're in luck: The actress has landed a juicy role on Privileged, the forthcoming CW drama created by her ex-Everwood boss, Rina Mimoun.
Hey, that qualifies as an Everwood reunion in my book!
OK, the deets: Drew will play Joanna Garcia's BFF from college in the show's eighth episode. And although she's only signed on for one episode, there's significant recurring potential. Of course, as Mimoun points out, that's frequently the case where Drew is concerned.
"You can't just have her on once," she laughs. "[Her Everwood character] Hannah was never supposed to be on for more than, like, a two-episode arc, and she ended up staying forever!"
And we were all the better for it.
Privileged, BTW, debuts Sept. 9. And you can't be mad at me about that headline. They both worked on Everwood and now they're reuniting – i.e., an Everwood reunion! Sheesh.
