Once again I’m going to complain that not all of us can watch these videos and that by not providing written transcript version youre shrinking your audience… I know you wish you were a TV star Mikey, but you’re not, so please, stop trying to force us into pretending you are and cough up some transcripts when you post these.

The blind item is totally “Dirty Sexy Money.” Much has been made out of all the behind the scenes switches and retooling being done to the series. Talk of a death being added to the season premiere came up not too long ago. My guess is now that there is yet another show runner at the helm, this decision has been nixed.
OMG MICHAEL, you really NEED to rethink your wardrobe! The outfit you are wearing in this episode is AWFUL. Not only do you have a tacky and cheap short sleeved button down, but you have a Kwik-E-Mart clerk vest on, that matches with your poorly tied tie. GET A STYLIST, PLEASE!

So, isn’t Sam also going back in time? Why does Dean get to do all that stuff- first it was his wish world in What Is and What Should Never Be and then it was his dreams in Dream a Little Dream of Me. Can’t Sam also go back in time? I sure hope so because I want to see Sam’s reaction to his parents as youngsters and how this big reveal affects him as well as Dean;-)

Yea… this is really disappointing. Why wouldn’t Sam go back in time as well? Is he really that much of a burden and too much in the way from this becoming the “Dean Show” I mean wasn’t it Sam who was going to be searching for his mothers past in season two? Then it got pushed back to season three, now four, and it isn’t even his storyline anymore? Wow just when I think they can’t get any worse with their Blatant need for having Sam in the background and having Dean do all the cool stuff. His dream world, his perfect life, his bastard son… Nothing for Sam and everything for Dean. The episode that “Changes Everything” Won’t even have on half of the main characters in it? Wow sure sounds fair. This season sounds like its going to suck worse than season two.

I wish Mr. Kripke would realise that not all of us watch this show because of Dean. Some of us actually watch it for Sam.
Before I was annoyed by the spoilers, but now I’m PISSED OFF. Why the hell would they only send Dean back, especially to find out Mary’s secrets, when that was Sam’s storyline! Sam was the one she apologize to in Home, Sam was the one who saw Mary recognize the YED in All Hell Breaks Loose, and Sam was the one who Ruby clued in about Mary’s past, and Sam did the research on her friends and family. For him not to go back, too, and and see them is crap. And this thing where Dean is the only one who can interact with family members, past and present, is also crap.

P.S. There’s no reason why anyone cannot ever watch these – don’t have highspeed at home? Go to your local library – they have it for free. If that even is unavailable for one reason or another wait for five minutes and the details will be plastered all over the various blogs. That’s how fandom works.

This spoiler is bullshit. Ausiello, please clarify and be absolutely certain that Sam is not going to travel back in time as well, so that if that’s the case I can be sure not to watch this episode!
Yea, we were promised before S2 that it would be Sam who searches his families past. I know how this episode will change the show forever, it will be the episode that FINALLY pushes Sam out of the picture once and for all, so it can be the Dean show. The show should just cut Jared off so he can move on and star in more movies instead of one a summer. Atleast then his fans will be able to see him act.
Oh yes, this episode changes everything all right. It changes what was Sam’s storyline to one for Dean. I am angry about this stuff!
Why does only Dean get the family stuff? Didn’t he have enough family stuff with all his never ending Daddy angst (which Sam was also shut out of in S2). But now he gets Sam’s Mary storyline too? Poor Sam…shafted out of his storylines to make way for Dean once again.
This really has become The Dean Winchester Show and I no longer have any interest in it whatsoever.
I agree, Colin! I knew that Dean’s deal would eclipse all other storylines, so I am not surprised, but I am still majorly upset by it. So now that Dean is a part of the mythology I guess that means he’s the only one that gets to participate in it new. Congrats, Kripke – you have your Dean show!
You are right Sarah, atleast in seasons two and three Sam had his mythology. So we were gaurenteed atleast SOME Sam stuff. Now that he doesnt even have that, I guess we have nothing to look forward to. At the Comic Con Kripke was all over Jensen, and Jared just sat there because he had nothing to do. They didnt even showcase him in the clips, he took time out of his life to show up and they didnt even show a clip for his fans. He seemed like himself again durring the Friday panel and I think it just shows that he is aware what kripke is doing. The show is now the Dean show, I just wish Jared would leave the show, there is no need for him anymore. “Lets give Dean the feelings when the dad dies, lets give Dean the cool episodes like Dream world, and what he wants out of life. Thats still not enough? Give him Sam’s storyline about the mom, that should be awesome.” Well Kripke is dumb if he doesnt know that Jared has a bright future and he is stupid to not use him.
Disgusted by what I just watched. I can not believe that Dean will be the one going back in time; yet I’m not surprised at all. I knew they would do this. They’ve already sold Sam’s one storyline to Dean (mytharc)and it looks like all the side plots are also been removed from Sam. So much for the Sam is insight that us fans have been craving and begging for. Welcome to S4- the Dean Winchester show..

WOW, it looks like the Jared fans have attacked. If they READ the sides, you would know that Sam also goes back in time and not just Dean.
So Sam fans. What, you upset now that Dean actually has a spot in the mythology? Who’s to say he didn’t all along? Sam still has a lot to do this season. And the reason a lot was focused on Dean this year at comic con… he DIED and was in HELL last year. So just like everyone was worried about the car in season 1, everyone was worried about Dean and how he would come back.
So… I for one am HAPPY to see this happen. And the rest of you. Stop complaining. Because there are a lot of us, whom were getting tired of the SAM SHOW. It’s going to be about BOTH boys like it usually is. So stop getting your panties in a twist.
Heather, Sam’s not in the sides. Neither is Dean for that matter. The names are covered because they were released before we found out about Dean escaping Hell (which, duh Kripke!) So there’s no proof that I know of that Sam is in there. The covered names may both have been Dean, or Sam was removed from those scenes.
What a truly awful spoiler about Mary. Despite the fact that everything to do with the Mary mystery has so far been connected to Sam, it’s now going to be given to Dean? Eh, it doesn’t surprise me, after all Kripke’s handed over the mytharc to Dean now too, despite all his up until recent protestations that Dean’s storyline was all the more interesting because he *wasn’t* connected to the mytharc.
Poor Sam. And poor Jared.
To think this show was once described as a show about brothers. Now it’s clearly only about *one* brother.

Heather how can you say you are sick of the Sam show then in the next breath say its going to about both boys as usual? And don’t tell us to stop complaining – we have every right. Plus as pointed out below there is actually nothing in the sides to prove sam is in this ep. People are responding to this report saying that Dean goes back – no mention of Sam. And its the most pivotal episode ever? Plus in another report it states that we will get to see what sam has been up to around eps 8-15. That really sucks. Based on the spoilers coming out Sam fans have every right to complain – and I am sick to death of Dean fans telling sam fans to shut up – as if you guys would just take it if the situation was reversed.
Firstly, I was not aware that we were the hosts of “What not to wear”. Secondly, why is it a battle of which Winchester you perfer? I’m all about the story. I want to know what Mama Winchester was up to. And just because Dean gets to be the one to go back and see what his Mom was up to is not such a bad thing. He is the one that is all about the family. Maybe this will make him doubt what he has been trying to defend all of these years. Sam after all is the one Ruby told about something being not right with his Mom. He never mentioned it to Dean, which will make it more of a surprise for him. Sam would be expecting something, not Dean. Plus, maybe what we find out is about Sam which will make “possibly” some extra tension between the brothers. Personally I’m excited. And besides both of them are great actors and not mention easy on the eyes.
Heather, we have a right to be upset about Sam’s lack of attention. It’s been years now since his character had any forward momentum, meanwhile, Dean’s been front and center. Honestly, who cares that Dean died and came back? So did Sam, and you know what? Sam’s death didn’t move his own characterization forward, no, it moved Dean’s charaterization forward! Sam dies, and big deal for him. But Dean dies, and the whole show turns end over end, the mytharc suddenly becomes all about him, their family history is suddenly only relevant to him, and perhaps, in fifteen episodes or so, we’ll see what Sam’s been up to. It’s the Dean Show, completely and totally.
If it was only going to be Dean, why have two different names in the sides? And would the mother be inviting DEAN to dinner? I doubt it.
Sam wasn’t Dead at the end of the season 2 final. So no, it was VERY different, Dean was hanging in HELL. And, why was Sam not in the clip at Comic Con? Because the first 5 minutes of the Season is Dean digging himself out. Who’s to say the next ten minutes aren’t about Sam? If you read the sides, he was in them a LOT. You are basing a whole of things on small spoilers that you don’t know much about. And last year was all about Dean? You’re kidding right? The was what Dean brought back 100% Sam? Sam killing Gordon? Sam talking with RUBY all the time? Sam finding out about Mary and NOT telling Dean? Sam killing the CrossRoads Demon? Sam in Mystery Spot? Sam and maybe his powers coming back? That Lilith want’s Sam dead. That Sam has to save his brother. That Sam… do you get the point?
