Ready for the Mother of all scoops?

CBS president Nina Tassler confirms that Sarah Chalke has inked a deal to return to How I Met Your Mother this season for multiple episodes, igniting a new round of speculation that Stella is Ted's mysterious missus.

I've debated if I'd prefer Sarah Chalke to stick with Scrubs or leave for HIMYM, but now I'm convinced that she needs her own show. She's a good enough actress to hold her own, and not have to rely on Braff or Radnor.

I found Chalke incandescently charming on HIMYM, but what I really want to know is how the Barney/Robin storyline is going to develop. That to me was the much greater cliffhanger of the finale ...

Never mind about Sarah Chalke returning to HIMYM. What I would really like to know is will they ever bring back Hannigan's husband Alexis Denisof back on the show. Or will Denisof ever get any acting work ever again.
