It’s that time again, folks. (What time is it, Aus?) It’s time for another one of my ridiculously informative, relentlessly entertaining, unbelievably fabulous exclusive casting roundups!

* David Arquette is following in the footsteps of his Scrubs-bound wife, Courteney Cox, and heading back to the tube this fall. Arquette, last seen (or not) on the small screen in the ABC comedy In Case of Emergency, has signed on to guest star in this season’s fourth episode of Pushing Daisies, titled “Freshcorts.” Daisies‘ Emmy-nominated creator, Bryan Fuller, describes his character thusly: “While investigating a murder, Ned encounters the socially awkward Randy Mann, who has a secret, special talent that unexpectedly bonds him to the Pie-Maker.” It’s official: Randy Mann is so the new Ben Dover.

* Ex-Prison Break convict Rockmond Dunbar is doing a career 180 with a recurring role on The L Word. He’ll play a drag queen with a mad crush on Pam Grier.

* Maxim fave Taryn Manning (Drive) has come aboard FX’s upcoming motorcycle-themed drama Sons of Anarchy in a recurring role.

* The Shield’s Beninto Martinez will appear in the season opener of The Unit in what one insider is calling “a pretty significant role.” I’d say so — he’s the freakin’ president!

Aw man, no more William H. Macy as the president on The Unit. Don’t get me wrong, I love Benito Martinez, but this is a losing trade.

  • Brandon

Aceveda’s moving up in the world.
