Ausiello – I was fine with subscribing to EW to keep reading your scoops.
But please stop being a video whore!
Most of us are at work and we too value our careers so could you try to MOSTLY do text-based work? Thank you for your consideration.

  • Andy

I’m with Catherine. Text based news is best. Videos, like spandex, are a privilege, not a right.

  • Michelle

Yay for Joss! I’m so looking forward to Dollhouse. Nice to see Joss’s vision back on TV. I really want to see Dr. Horrible, but can’t get on the site! I better before the end of the day! I want to see Nathan sing!

  • James

@Catherine: If you value your career so much, don’t look at entertainment sites at work. The video will still be there when you get home.

  • Mel

Hate to be nitpicky but its the TCA Press Tour not the Upfronts! Get it right!

  • Deniece

Can’t wait for Dollhouse, and just watched the first part of Dr Horrible, all I’ll say is it’s freaking awesome.

  • MarieE

Team Andy and Catherine! Videos w/o at least some kind of quick description of what is being said = not fun. Having to read comments to try and understand what the interviewee has said = also not fun.
Other than that, you’re are one awesome man, Michael Ausiello.

Go back to Reader’s Digest! And EW stop trying to compete with EOnline! Between this bozo and the changes you have made to the magazine, you are trying to pander to the lowest common denominator. Stop it before it is too late.

  • ann

Agree with the other folks – more actual writing, less videos please.

  • Jane

I like how Ausiello rears back and away from Joss. He looks terrified, like he thinks Joss is going to punch him in the face.

  • marcee

I’m with Catherine… Less video, more type. Sorry, but I do my ew-ing at the office too. If I want video, I’ll watch the TV Guide Channel or E!
    Reading…it’s good for you.

Good grief, people! Glass half full much? LOVE the videos, Mike, especially this one with Joss!

  • T

Ignore the complainers. I love the videos. Keep up the great work.

  • sissy

I strongly suggest you view more at Sugarbabydate. cccooom , where i have met many single sugar beauties and rich men, who love chatting sports. online .. .

ITA — I read this at the office, where I can have no sound on my computer! Videos are nothing but still pictures that don’t tell me anything. (And I almost never bother websurfing at home, so I don’t catch it later, either.) Could there at least be transcripts for each video?

  • Jessica

Thank you for my Joss fix! Dr. Horrible is amazing(for anyone wondering) and I think that “Dollhouse” will rank up there with his best work-which is, of course, Buffy! All hail Whedon:)
Alright, I’m done expressing my fandom…For now.

  • Stef

I’d love a transcript for those of us who have all streaming content blocked at work. Watching internet video’s is not frowned upon at my job (my boss has a non-networked computer that she uses to watch entire episodes of Ugly Betty), however all I can see is the still!

While I don’t mind the video scoops, Mr. Ausiello, I do think your hilarious wit is lost in them. You often had me LOL while reading your written scoops over at TVGuide.com. Isn’t that why so many people became fans in the first place? Why lose that just to become a microphone stand? Seriously, not many people can write that well, be funny and succint at the same time (look at me). Please tell your new supervisor that you have writing strengths and should stick to them. Good luck!
