Exclusive: Taylor Kitsch leaving 'Friday Night Lights'?

It looks like Tim Riggins will be warming the bench for at least a portion of Friday Night Lights’ fifth season.

Executive producer Jason Katims confirms that Taylor Kitsch will be off filming his lead role in John Carter of Mars, Disney’s big-screen adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ book series, during production of FNL’s probable final season. As a result, he says Kitsch “will miss part” of the season. “[But] we are communicating with the [John Carter] production to work out the schedule so that Taylor can be in as much of season 5 as possible.” (Read full post)

Ask Ausiello: Spoilers on 'House,' 'Criminal Minds,' 'Glee,' 'Smallville,' and more!

Got a scoop request? An anonymous tip you’re dying to share? Just want to say hi? You can send any/all of the above to ausielloscoop@ew.com

Question: House writer Tommy Moran tweeted that episode 14 is big for Cuddy. My question for you is how big? —Anna
Ausiello:
So big that I hear Cuddy will be sharing her bed with two different people by the end of the hour.

Question: I feel an urge to poison my liver with a bottle of 150-buck Russian vodka after the rumor I just heard regarding episode 14 of House. Cuddy and Lucas are going to have sex? Seriously? What does your mole say about it? Can I head to the liquor store? Should I buy some Valium just in case? —Andie
Ausiello:
I hope you’re sitting down Andie because I have some earth-shattering news for you. Cuddy and Lucas have already had sex. Lots of it. That’s what boys and girls do when they’re in a romantic relationship. Now, as far as the Feb. 8 episode goes, all I’ll say is that Cuddy does, in fact, have a sexual encounter.

Question: I need some House scoop! —Raymond
Ausiello:
House is going to pull some strings to get someone a job at Princeton Plainsboro in early ‘10. And someone else (a current employee) is not going to be happy about it. (Read full post)

Exclusive: 'Smallville' movie gets a title!

Categories: News, Smallville

It’s official: Smallville’s upcoming two-hour Justice Society-centric “movie” is now an actual movie.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that The CW has jettisoned the separate titles that were initially assigned to each of the two episodes — “Society” and “Legends,” respectively — in favor of the singularly sensational (and far more marketable) Smallville: Absolute Justice.

What’s more, (Read full post)

This just in: Will Arnett confirmed for 'Parks and Rec'

Hey, what’s that smell? Oh, I know — it’s the ink drying on Will Arnett’s Parks and Recreation contract.

An NBC spokesperson confirms that Arnett will guest star opposite real-life wife, Amy Poehler, on her creatively-resurgent comedy in early 2010. He’ll play a possible suitor for Poehler’s character, Leslie.

Incidentally, Arnett appears in the same episode that marks the arrival of Justin Theroux, who also happens to be playing a love interest for Leslie. You know what I’m smelling now? Comedic fireworks!
